RE: Color Grading - dysfunctional new tool?!
Ok. Glad it works for you. But this at least proved that switching the GPU on/off runs havoc the project when using the new color grading feature... Go figure. And it should not be me struggling with this, it should be Maxic struggling with fixing

RE: vp 17 for dji X5S prores cinema encode
since cinema dng is not really supported as a video container format in vegas pro (you can add it as a sequence) and you still would want to work with that, davinci studio would be the clear better choice for that. but if you want to work with

24bit Audio Issue Platinum 13
Hello, I'm having an issue getting Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 13 to import 24bit audio. Is there a workaround to this in 13? If not, does the latest version (16?) natively support 24bit audio? I'm running Windows 10 and capturing my video/audio

Premiere and Avid already support native BRAW editing and even Edius update 9.51 now supports natively the codec...i guess Fcp will follow soon. So what about Vegas? Is there any colaboration with BlackMagic to support Vegas in the near

RE: Black Frames on render bug in Vegas Pro 17.0 (builds 321 & 353)
A number of years ago this happened in Vegas 10a-10d when importing Blackmagic M-JPEG AVI video & was finally (mostly) resolved in the last 10e release. (Others have had ongoing problems with the Cineform codec...) Back then a couple of

RE: [Closed] Seeking: Legit Retired Full Retail Windows 7 64-bit Product Key
Wow... I recall checking out Resolve a long time ago, and downloading the free version, but never used and thus deleted it for I was so used to Vegas. Looks like it's come a long way since then. Not surprising since Blackmagic is a veteran in

One difference I just noticed looking at their feature comparisons. The OFX Pro version is $250. The Vegas specific Pro version is $130 as well as they offer a Home Vegas specific version which is $75 and the difference between the Pro and Home

"At IBC, even 16K compatibility has been mentioned by a lens manufacturer and I'm sure we'll hit 64K before I die." I could see 8k+ resolutions used for VR 3D, but that's about the only home use I can think of that it wouldn't be a complete

RE: Black Magic Raw
Black magic raw came out in 2019. Vegas 16 was released in 2018. So its impossible for vegas to support black magic raw from many versions ago. The most current version Vegas 16 pro does not support black raw from my BMPCC 4K. I'm asking again when

S1 uses H264 at 4:2:2 up to 400mbps all I frame in 4k, which is fine for me as I have no need to shoot 6k (I really don't like digital zooming, and never need to stabilize). The pocket 6k is supposed to have 12 stops, but it doesn't... tests show

RE: Black Magic Raw
The cost may be an issue. Depends if Blackmagic want to sell more cameras or make more money licensing codecs. MAGIX may need time to negotiate a pay-only-when-used license like some of the other codecs that require additional activation.

You quit using Vegas after 15 years because Blackmagic supported a format they invented faster than Vegas did? Because a handful of other NLEs just got support for it a week ago? Vegas still supports far more input and output formats than Resolve

RE: Black Magic Raw
Given that BM raw is a camera format, not an intermediate, the market for Magix would = Vegas Pro users with Blackmagic cameras (or clients with such) who choose to use the BM raw codec for their project. Is that a big number of people? Not trying
