RE: VEGAS Pro 17 Update 1 (build 321) - General Discussion
Thought I'd give VP17 a try... Load time for a large XAVC project: 13 minutes vs. VP16: under 3 minutes.... Raises the question does my 2014 machine no longer meet the VP17 system requirements?... (Windows 10 64-bit; Processor Intel Core

RE: VEGAS Pro 17 Update 1 (build 321) - General Discussion
It looks like the disk read bit rate is failing. But I tried files from several drives and I use SSD. Strangely, if I try to slow down the video, the preview plays stable 30fps (project set to 30fps). If I play a video that is recorded at 60fps in

RE: will gtx 750ti work with Vegas Pro17?
paul, I was in exactly the same position. I too was using V15 with an i7 4790, 16GB ram and a gtx750.I upgraded to the gtx1060 6Gb and V17. I do use 4K and it works well and although I usually use proxy files I probably dont need to now. With the

RE: VEGAS Pro 17 Update 1 (build 321) - General Discussion
@Grazie Still on Vegas 16, so that means just standard OpenCL acceleration. I will look at upgrading to V17 sometime in the new year after I do a "hardware refresh." I am dreaming of Threadripper 3's and RTX's :)

RE: What do I need to do to make Vegas 17 stable?
In danger of repeating myself but anyway ... IMHO don’t use VP17 on anything complex/important until the first update arrives, if you can do it in an earlier version. Its simply too buggy and unstable, my experience and plenty of

Your hardware has not enough power to handle this program Do you have any recommendations for an upgrade?

RE: Which processor should I be upgrading to?
@matthew-c ... If your audio is still lagging even after upgrading your video board and switching away from windows audio mapping, you might want to be thinking of upgrading your audio hardware. I sometimes use the realtek mic input from my mobo for

@SalahWhich driverversion for your GTX2080 are you using?Did you already tried out with a trial version of VP17, that is very much improved for using 4K stuff and mostly at this moment when your GPU is used for hardware accelleration in

RE: Mp3 audio screeches in Vegas 16 and Vegas 15 Pro but not in Vegas 13
I had the same happen with VMSP16. It started happening after I upgraded my computer hardware (motherboard + cpu). I'm not entirely sure if it was hardware change or "soft reset" for the operating system which caused it. It got fixed after I

RE: Vegas 17 Pro crashing while editing 4K
One working case on one hardware config isn't enough to say for sure that there isn't an issue with those drivers. There have been a number of people on these forums helped by upgrading to the studio driver, and being that Nvidia says it is

RE: Help Martin to spend his dime well!
@Martin LI chose the Asus Z390 WS Pro workstation-class motherboard because it has a PLX chip which manages the Z390 & 9900K's limited 16-lane architecture. It allows me to fill ALL of the PCIe slots with a M.2 adapter, Blackmagic capture card,

@Widetrack "I basically picked that MOBO because it's not too expensive." I thought you might be price sensitive. That's why is suggested a moderately priced SATA and NVMe combination for storage devices since I just bought these two devices. I put

RE: Constant crashing with Vegas Pro?
You are right, never use a plug-in as a basis to upgrade. Also since 2015 I have been using XAVCS 4K from Sony AX100 camera. Used it in VP13, 14, 15, 16 and now 17. I have NVIDIA card and VP cannot hardware decode as it is not recognised as standard

Should I be upgrading to a Ryzen or Intel processor?
I have been using vegas for many years and have gotten to a point where the videos I am making are becoming more and more complex and detailed, resulting in Vegas slowing down, freezing, and crashing. My render speeds are great for 720p (which I

RE: [Release] VEGAS Pro 17 – The fastest NLE. For passionate creatives.
I pulled the trigger, and upgraded from VP 15 to VP 17. I was so pleasantly surprised how much smoother the timeline was. This has been a key issue for me, and led me to consider buying some expensive new hardware, and even consider moving to

"and just like an most apple products, resolve expects you to use their overpriced hardware to do what Vegas (and most other NLE's) can do on any much cheaper hardware, " I'm going to push back on this one: 1. Since Vegas 15 and Windows 10 the

I got the notification also that v17 is available but I don't see any link in the purchase process of this new software to download the free upgrade as those of us that recently bought v16 were promised. I'll reach out to Magix for some advice on
