Hi is it possible to remove all events which are covered by the topmost event?I don't use any compositing, alpha channels, etc. just simple multicam hard cuts on my timeline.But as soon as some event has an fx on it, Vegas renders all the below

Nice. Is it also possible to delete events which will be not visible at all, because of top events cover these 100%? I don't use any compositing mode, etc, just simple multicam edits with hard cuts, so it would be very nice to delete the bottom

You'll find it in the Tools/Multicam options though it does not need a multicam project to be used. Unfortunately this tool often just fails. Sometimes it does nothing at all, sometimes the clips will be off a large amount. Sometimes it works.

If you need multicam editing - use Proxy (I make 640x360 mpeg2 proxies for 6 cams). Also I tried HAP codec - fast for working but slow for encoding. Than render with the original files. Replacing proxys very easy with Vegasaur also.

Joking aside, as I mentioned several time already I think, I guess it is a matter of time before indeed Vegas will need to eventually have AT LEAST some of it's code re-written for the future updates. That is basically what is already happening.

I ALWAYS render my tracks to new tracks before enabling multicam. For backup and contingencies, and well worth it.
