RE: Audio not synced in speeded up parts after enabling multi cam editing
Before I use multicam mode, I always save a version as it is. Then you can revert if something goes wrong such as this.

Audio not synced in speeded up parts after enabling multi cam editing
I spent a few days editing lots of clips with a lot of those parts speeded up 400%. I then added a second video track at about the 10 minute mark and enabled multicam editing. Now all of the previous speeded up parts have audio that is out of sync

Vegas not remembering button/state after exit/start for Multi-cam
As we try making the native Vegas multi-cam workflow working for us, I've encounter some oddities perhaps others have run across.. wondering if this is a bug or some settings we're overlooking? Here's one. After setting up the multi-cam project and

RE: Group placing inside region/regions
When you click Apply to place multicam events within the Region Vegasaur creates a crossfade on the first or last event hack to try to adjust multicam events within the region. This is as expected and vegasaur is working correctly in this case.

RE: Building a proxy (pre-rendered) video to speed up multi-cam editing
Thanks for the reply! I understand Vegas proxies are large uncompressed files which make them quick for decode, but large in size. Throw that up with 7 or 8 concurrent streams multicam and I am pretty sure Vegas will drop frames when editing in fast

RE: Building a proxy (pre-rendered) video to speed up multi-cam editing
Vegas does have a proxy system, just right click on a clip in project media and select "create video proxy" (you can ctrl+a all clips to do this quickly). This creates 720p proxies of all the clips that are only visible if preview quality is set to

RE: VP17 Build 353 Unusable - Reinstalled B321. Back working . . . so far
Before build 321 I got 2-3 crash in editing per project. Mostly freeze when I try to click here and there. But acceptable to work to finished the project. Build 321 is the best one. Edited and finished multicam project that is 1hrs 30minutes long.

RE: Multiple cameras choppy playback and slow render times VP14+
Thanks for the recommendation; I don't have Excalibur, and I don't plan any multicam projects now that I'm retired from theatre production.

RE: Multiple cameras choppy playback and slow render times VP14+
Hey @Musicvid.. I'm a huge Excaliber fan for our multi-cam work -- it's nondestructive way of editing and only building the master track upon completion is superior IMO -- the ability to apply event-level FX, pan/crop, etc and have them preserved.

Crossfade between multiple clips
Using Movie Studio 16 Platinum on Windows 10. I understand how to add transitions between clips by selecting all the clips using shift and clicking the first and last clip. What I cannot figure out is the following. I want each crossfade to last

RE: "Create Multicamera Track" is greyed out VP 16
Be Sure to back up all your tracks before creating a Multicam Track. You'll find out why during editing.

RE: So my G9 gets 10 bit 4:2:2, since it reads my 8bit ......
10 bit vlog video definitely decodes slower in Vegas, I proxy any multicam stuff I do in 10 bit, but the added color and dynamic range is worth it.

RE: using source timecode
BTW, timecode sync and multicam only works in Vegas Pro as well, not Movie Studio. I've been under the impression we were on the Pro forum, my bad. Giving us the specs on an external t/c generator is no different than internally generated timecode

RE: multicam edit lecturer+powerpoint+composite of both
You don't have 3 shots, only 2. no need for multicam. So place your main presenter 4K in one track and the PPT on next track in basic PIP. cut for the relevant content first and then go back and modify for the composition you need.

RE: multicam edit lecturer+powerpoint+composite of both
I have never tried it but maybe nesting the track with all the tracking into a multicam project could be a solution?
