    RE: ALL or Multiple crossfades
Apparently I'm not explaining myself well enough......I edit alot of LIVE Music Shows, from 30 mins to an hour or more in length, with 4-8 cameras (MultiCam Modes). Apparently when I finish editing, as in picking the cameras, and creating the

    ALL or Multiple crossfades
I've been using Vegas Video for years, and just upgraded to Movie Studio Platinum 16, and one thing I've NEVER been able to do in any of the versions.....I'm editing in MultiCam mode, sometimes, 4 to 6 or so cameras. I find myself having to manually

    RE: Excalibur
@jetdv Not sure if this will help at all, but I tried the other scripts in Excalibur and they work. Only the multicam is malfunctioning. I see there is a similar post from 2017 on your jetdv site from someone else. I've opened older versions of the

RE: Future 8K support for new Sony XEVC??
Also...imaging shooting a band interview in 8k. You could frame the whole band in 8k in wide, then you can crop in 4x on talking band members and still deliver a "multicam" interview in 4k using only one camera. Theoretically yes. In practice I

RE: Is it just me, or does VEGAS Pro 15 crash at regular intervals?
Version 15 hangs/crashes so often, I've stopped editing with it, and went back to version 13. I do render with 15, since that's about twice as fast. I notice that 15 slows down over 15 - 30 minutes until it hangs/crashes. I'm always using multicam

All of my work is multicam, with 5 plus cameras. The latest Vegasaur update is awesome help with this. Batch stabilise your clips using the Vegasaur "Quick Select" option. Select one clip/take then Vegasaur QUICK SELECT>SELECT SAME MEDIA(VIDEO

I know what you mean, I had this too just with 3 tracks on a weaker machine. In my case it was 2 fullHD tracks (AVC), and a 1440*1080 (HDV mpeg2). I had to create proxies, after that the multicam preview was buttersmooth at preview/full. Don't

Stutter only in "Enable Multicam Editing"

RE: Multiple cameras choppy playback and slow render times VP14+
If you go to your Project Media window, that's where all of your source media lives. That's where you need to apply any and all effects to be used in multicam projects, with almost no exceptions. Multicam is source dependent. It is possible to apply

@johnny-d Here is how I go about multicam projects. At first I layout the source files and sync them. Use what ever method suits you and your type of work. I than make myself a “Video Wall”, meaning use a Vegasaur utility to show all of the camera

@johnny-d I am not sure what you are trying to achieve by NOT using the multicam editing tool. Can you please explain that? If you are worried about color correction, do it on the media level.

RE: Can't edit 720p multi-cam footage in Pro 16 -footage too choppy
The only reason why I'm upscaling is because the footage has been deinterlaced, which produces 59.97fps. 720P supports a frame rate of 59.94. I deinterlaced because I just learned AVISynth and wanted to perform QTGMC. So in my script I deinterlaced

RE: Can't edit 720p multi-cam footage in Pro 16 -footage too choppy
Set your Project to match your source, not your output. This is fundamental. For what purpose are you upscaling and cropping? It sounds like you may need to prerender so that Vegas does not try to render the preview in real time, which your system

    RE: Rendering before multicam
You could apply those crops and fX to the clips and save as a Vegas project. Then “nest” that project in your multicam project instead of the original clip. That method will be profoundly resource intensive.

RE: Align One Camera Track With External Audio Recorder Via Timecode?
Align tracks to timecode is greyed out under multicamera, so we can't even attempt it. It doesn't seem Vegas is set up to align audio without video to just one camera angle. I told him to throw in a dummy track with a random video and use that to
