    New Multicam Window (Request)
The idea is to leave Multicam Legacy mode as it is and create this new option. So the user can choose to work in the conventional way or in this new way. This layout change would be very useful mainly for users who only have one monitor. It would

RE: VEGAS Pro 16 Update 4 (build 361) - General Discussion
I already mentioned the major issue is NO PROPER GPU ACCELERATION. Cannot edit my Canon 80D/6DII files without pathetic low framerate playback, cannot edit multicam for the same reason even the simplest transition which is crossfade is too much

RE: Best path for next upgrade
Try Davinci for free , it might accelerate your present machine so much that you won't even be thinking about new hardware . Davinci accelerates ( Time Line and Rendering ) on AMD 7850k APU Soc GPU . Davinci has some serious optimizations in there .

MULTICAM EDIT IS WASTING PRECIOUS SPACE ON SCREEN
Hello, fellow video editors. I am one of the few editors who have been using Vegas Pro for over 15 years. I have a suggestion to improve multi-camera editing mode, (Shift + Ctrl + D) Every year I need to shoot and edit dance school shows with up to

RE: Reading timecode from zoom f8
The 2 red circled wav files on the image were imported as Broadcast wav and were correctly placed on the time line. I doubt that I could have laid them out using multicam but I had no need to try. Please be aware that I have re-arranged the columns

RE: [Closed] Why Buy Vegas if Resolve is Free?
Edius is my main editor as it is fast and has the best multicam editing in my opinion. I also have Vegas 16 as well as Resolve Studio. ( also CS6, not used anymore ). Vegas by far is the best for multi track audio editing ( with Sound Forge and

@Scot-Clayton Don't know if this helps for a future workflow:While you are in the multicam editing mode, if you keep "Ctrl" pressed while cutting into a certain take, each time you do this there will be a dissolve instead of a cut.So say you have 4

Yeah...just hard to believe a simple thing like that isn't, and hasn't ever been available. I can, of course, do it EACH time I select the Camera, when I'm in MultiCam Edit Mode, by using ALT and the Number of CAM, I believe, but guess I'll just

    ALL or Multiple crossfades
I've been using Vegas Video for years, and just upgraded to Movie Studio Platinum 16, and one thing I've NEVER been able to do in any of the versions.....I'm editing in MultiCam mode, sometimes, 4 to 6 or so cameras. I find myself having to manually

RE: Future 8K support for new Sony XEVC??
Also...imaging shooting a band interview in 8k. You could frame the whole band in 8k in wide, then you can crop in 4x on talking band members and still deliver a "multicam" interview in 4k using only one camera. Theoretically yes. In practice I

RE: Is it just me, or does VEGAS Pro 15 crash at regular intervals?
Version 15 hangs/crashes so often, I've stopped editing with it, and went back to version 13. I do render with 15, since that's about twice as fast. I notice that 15 slows down over 15 - 30 minutes until it hangs/crashes. I'm always using multicam

I know what you mean, I had this too just with 3 tracks on a weaker machine. In my case it was 2 fullHD tracks (AVC), and a 1440*1080 (HDV mpeg2). I had to create proxies, after that the multicam preview was buttersmooth at preview/full. Don't

RE: Multiple cameras choppy playback and slow render times VP14+
If you go to your Project Media window, that's where all of your source media lives. That's where you need to apply any and all effects to be used in multicam projects, with almost no exceptions. Multicam is source dependent. It is possible to apply
