RE: VP16 Multicam editing stops functioning after a while...
In case it only happens when using mouse-clicks but not when using number keys: Yes. I just rebooted and restarted VP16. The Multicam screen stopped working about three minutes in... And, no - the numbers do not work either.

RE: Unable to read timecode from Canon 5D Mark iv
Did anyone find a solution to my problem? I can't believe no one has had this problem. I'm new to timecodes, so maybe it is just something simple I'm missing? I have Pluraleyes and have used that very successfully, but just think timecodes would be

RE: Does Vegas Pro can import folders in media bin?
I totally agree. For multicam projects this is very annoying. It is important to arrange by folder, especially with Sony where the files have the same names!

Does Vegas Pro can import folders in media bin?
Working with multicams & i want to just drag all the folders that I've made with the current project & all the other files needed for the editing. Can Vegas do this? I've tried this but it can't be drag & drop or maybe i'm doing it

RE: VP15 Multicam Edit with Audio Sync
@j-v that is a screen shot of VP15 Pro Suite. The only thing I can think of is that I did at one time install a trial version of VMS way early this year. I then uninstalled it. I don't remember if you can sync audio in it or not. Just about every

RE: VP15 Multicam Edit with Audio Sync
@OldSmoke, any of the consumer editors (PowerDirector, VideoStudio Pro, Pinnacle Studio). I've used all three as they introduced multicam editing, starting with PowerDirector 14, then on to Pinnacle Studio. With Pinnacle, up to 6 cameras and 2 audio

RE: VP15 Multicam Edit with Audio Sync
@Reyfox, I learned how to do multicam editing on Vegas by watching this video (believe this is narrated by Gary Rebholz). I personally find it easy to manually sync several tracks, and even PluralEyes sometimes fails.

RE: Optimal laptop for Vegas Pro?
@OldSmoke I have 256 GB M.2 SSD that i use as C drive with windows and all programs. For storage I have other 1TB 7200 rpm HDD so there are the clips to edit... I assume the 1TB HDD is also in your laptop and a SATA III? You could try and replace it

RE: Optimal laptop for Vegas Pro?
OldSmoke you have this in mind - https://www.dell.com/en-uk/shop/laptops-notebooks-and-2-in-1-laptops/new-xps-15/spd/xps-15-9570-laptop/cnx97010 ? Yes, that would be the new model. SSDs will help a lot and you should keep your source files on a

RE: VP15 Multicam Edit with Audio Sync
I don't have VP16. As I wrote, sometimes I get projects where multicam editing is a must and I need audio sync. Thank you @j-v to pointing this out with VMS15! I see it's also in VP15!!! Now, any decent video tutorial on this?

RE: VP15 Multicam Edit with Audio Sync
I believe only VP16 can do multicam audio sync, similar to PluralEyes. In any case, this is a slow process too and not as accurate as you may envision.

VP15 Multicam Edit with Audio Sync
The title says it all. Can VP15 do this? Is there an online tutorial for it or a place where I can read about it? There are times I get multicam projects to do. And to sync visually, well, it can be done but not the most efficient when I have

RE: Feature request - Vegas Pro
I totally agree with your list. These are things I would use with every project.I'd like to see FinalCut-like compound clips where you can lock multiple cameras and audio together and it just looks like a block for editing purposes, but if you need

Lay Out Tracks Using Media Timecode
Kudos on the Lay Out Tracks Using Media Timecode option.I'm working on the same project with Premiere Pro and Vegas Pro, just to see what I like and what I don't. One task was to timeline out a whole day's shooting with a single camera. In Premiere

RE: Date Created To Timecode In Or Date/Time Stamp?
Another thing worth pointing out...Timecode, apparently, doesn't have date information. So, if your footage spans multiple days, automating multicam from all the files will be problematic.Of course, you can just select one day's worth of files (since

RE: Newbe... a couple of workflow questions
Color grade first, because these are static cameras, I'm guessing, with an audience that doesn't change, performers stay the same, just get a good grade that works and your pretty much done with that. You just have to do it all as Media FX or all is

RE: Newbe... a couple of workflow questions
If you don't have a lot of 1440x1080 or won't select many of those angles, go with a 1920x1080 project. Make yourself a video wall, 2x2 video, layout and align the clips, do color correction on the media level. Create the Multicam track, cut the

Thanks for taking the time to make this video. It basically confirms what I already stated. A nested project is treated as if it was a rendered file with all its FX applied, the project settings and hopefully the de-interlace method selected in the
