RE: Vegas 15 doesen't load Plural Eyes extension
Try enabling the multicam audio sync feature in VP15 and see if that helps you. This may also be the reason Plural Eyes is not supported in VP15. I've enabled it, but no luck. Created a mulitcam project from two tracks, and nothing. This is

RE: Gold Data Center drives for Video Editing ??
"Insofar as video editing is concerned, disk throughput and rotational speed seems to be king for video editing in Vegas, particularly for me when loading multicam edits, where the disk will sit at 100% for a couple of minutes whilst loading the

RE: Gold Data Center drives for Video Editing ??
I am not convinced that these 'data centre grade' drives are worth the extra $$. For the price of 1 of them, I can get 2 'ordinary' drives and mirror them, and get redundancy to boot. The warranty on the drives is identical (3 years) so why would

RE: Timecoded BWF Audio Files don't show Timecode IN information [bug]
well it's just that I'm exploring future workflows for multicam and split recording systems and how I can implement it (without having to resort to other third party NLEs, plugins or software); and since I provide that (TC) kind of service to my

RE: Multicam Editing - a trap for the unwary! (VMS 15 - Build 116)
You may have selected a track header, which selects all events residing on the track. A big tip for you is to render all assets to a new track(s) before creating your Multicam track from the first set.

Multicam Editing - a trap for the unwary! (VMS 15 - Build 116)
I'm editing a long concert on VMS15 using the multicam facility with the maximum number (4 for VMS) of cameras. Every now and again I have looked at the timeline and found a whole load of shot segments have been all the same take, despite me having

RE: Real-time Playback
@fr0sty A few hours for 5 x 4K camera footage? If so, it's not so bad but, in the past, I had let Vegas Pro 14 create one and it took a few hours just for one 4K footage (XAVC S) of about 2 hour length, since which time I hesitate to work with

RE: Real-time Playback
I rendered out those proxies in a few hours. Not long in comparison to the days I'll spend cutting, color correcting, color grading, noise reducing, rendering, etc., and since editing without the proxies brings my system to a crawl in multicam mode,

RE: Real-time Playback
It isn't as good, I use proxies if I'm going to do multicam mode. This video was cut in that mode, actually, I just disabled it so I could have fullscreen playback, since you can't see my full screen output on the other monitor.

RE: Real-time Playback
@fr0sty, that's looking really good! I am very curious to know what sort of playback performance you can get when in the multicam edit mode (CTRL+Shift+D). Thanks in advance.

RE: VEGAS Pro 15 Update 5 (build 361) - General Discussion
I tried to edit a multicam performance with the newest Vegas 15 but it kept crashing during the multicam editing. I did it in Vegas 14 and it didn't crash at all. I had two X AVC L and an X AVC S video file. The X AVC L from Sony PXW-X70, Sony

OK here we go!! The footage is native GH5 10 bit 4K 400mbps. My system can handle 2 tracks in multicam editing with 32 bit project settings and FXs applied. Play back TL performance is good, best/full frame rate. But when I start to add 2 more

RE: GPU Test (3 4 K files, 20 seconds, each file 4 different GPU FX effect
@D7K, I am curious about your GPU timeline performance in multicam edit mode as I use a similar GPU (RX580). Suppose you stack, say, 4 tracks of the 4K 100mb UHD from your Panny GX8 and create a multicam track, what sort of preview playback

RE: VEGAS Pro 15 Update 5 (build 361) - General Discussion
It looks like VEGAS Pro 15 (b361) does not like to have both VCE and QSV enabled simultaneously, at least, on my PC. I disabled iGPU (HD530) on the Intel i7 6700K in BIOS, and VEGAS Pro 15 (b361) finally managed to get through the VCE render. Speed

RE: Is Vegas to Handbrake still necessary for v15?

RE: Multicam Crashing
So, I checked my project settings, and noticed the project had been set to the settings of the first clip I used, the 720p60 clip. I changed the project settings to 1080p24, left everything else alone. That seems to have fixed the problem. So, if

Multicam Crashing
I've been trying for days to get a project finished and can't seem to get more than a few minutes of editing in before Vegas crashes. I have 4 cameras in this shoot. Here is the media info for each camera: Cam1: General Name: 00070.MTS Folder:
