RE: Very very slow render speed when using Denoise plugin
$130 for NeatVideo but it works well and is reasonably fast. Its just more than 3 months income from you Youtube channel, so I think I need to consider other mitigations for low light.I use a Gopro 10 and did not prepare well enough for the video I

Video review play back is lagging
When I down load 240ps from my gopro the review play back speed is lagging very badly. I just bought a Lenovo laptop with i5 intel evo, 516mb memory . Do I need to send the computer back or is it the software? Or something I could be doing? P.s. I

RE: Vegas Post vs NewBlueTotalFX vs BorisFXTitle Studio vs Vegasaur
@Former user Yep, a lot of other stuff are just effects, or image enhancers, denoise etc, Mocha's brilliant for tracking & just general masking, there's a remove feature, stabilize, image correction like GoPro lens.. 👍 really slows Vegas down on

RE: Render as does not show any GPU profiles in VP 19 (build 550)
I have added my info to the signature. While the 4K video is not a requirement for 32GB system RAM, it is only a recommendation. I still have the same issue with no GPU trying to do 1080p video. I have used mediaInfo for over 3 decades. There's

Pierre, do you find the GoPro files work without issue with the GPU now? The Blacklist ensemble was formed in Vegas 15. During that time, Gopro is still on the blacklist. I have no problem with that. It is possible that it works differently with my

    RE: constant lags and crashes
@Roger-Trigo, so with NO media on the timeline, VEGAS is laggy? Seriously, what is the media? When I use my 4K footage from my Osmo Pocket camera, I can get 30 frames per second on playback. When I use the HD GoPro footage, it often will not reach

RE: Pro 19 No smooth playback 10-bit video footage Panasonic GH5 II
If you had an x264 encode from handbrake - default settings as some sort of standard, then measured editing and scrubbing performance over a range of camera AVC files you would find a large variance in their ability to be played back on vegas, some

RE: Vegas Pro 20 Sneak Peek
I admit that I don't understand it, but if nvidia and amd allow the gpu to play hevc and h624, is it such a problem to copy their code to SO4? What to try in the same way as they did in Davinci or Adobe? I think the problem is it's old software

Sure. Not sure why I thought you were using 18, but stand corrected. I've never had a render stop in VMS 17.0 (whether it be 1080p or 4k) using the identical HEVC .mp4 files. Here's a sample of one of the HEVC file's media

    RE: Preview is very slow
I would like the gpu support for Dji gopro and others to be considered eperimental and the user could choose for himself whether he wants to activate it or not. Same as mkv. It is a pity to disable this option even if it works for someone without a

    RE: Preview is very slow
With GoPro footage, making Proxy Files is always the first recommendation. The discussion of expensive graphics hardware is probably secondary to your issue, and I'm sorry I brought it up, because such discussions tend to go on endlessly here.

But now I've been spoiled (between crashes) by how smooth the playback is of clips with effects and stabilization applied without the legacy AVC decoding enabled, where do I go from here? A new GPU? I will have to browse the forum ;) You didn't

RE: Vegas Pro 14 Background effects
You won't be shooting shallow depth-of-field (out-of-focus background) with a GoPro, nunca. For learning the basics of lighting, lenses, shutters, apertures, and exposure values, I recommend reading a good book. Almost anything written by Ansel

To be realistic, 60p UHD HEVC is hard to decode and edit. I would right-click on media and "create proxy file" for this type of media. Or shoot a more normal framerate like 24, 25 or 30p if your GoPro supports that. Now that we know about your

I am having a related problem that I cannot seem to solve: I cannot get Vegas Pro 19 to recognize/open .mov files. I have installed and re-installed various versions of Quicktime (7.76 up to 7.79), I have checked the "enable the Quicktime plug-in"

RE: Vegas Pro 14 Background effects
@John-Flatley You need to fix your lamps/lightbulbs, shutter speed, aperture, ISO and, if necessary, use ND filter(s) to get the exposure into the range that you're after for the look that want. If you've never heard these words before, you might
