RE: Is it a Vegas setting, a codec issue, or something else entirely?!
100 fps clips are great for slow motion on a 25p or 50p timeline. Right-click and select "add at project framerate" and it will be conformed to the right speed. GPU makers aren't going to support 10-bit 4:2:2 AVC and stopped development of it years

RE: Getting Error Message when trying to render anamorphic video in Vegas
@3POINT No, actually, the lenses are quite sharp. Some of the lost detail was due to an experiment I was doing. I was focused on the close distance (the trees). The purpose of doing this was to imagine a person in the foreground, talking to the

RE: Isolating ONLY Teeth (For Whitening) With Color Corrector (Secondary)?
It's better to use the HSL curves in the color grading panel combined with an animated mask around your mouth (can just be a square around your mouth that tracks where your mouth is as it moves around). You can motion track your mouth, then use the

RE: VEGAS Pro Feature Requests
Every editor now has the AI reframe option, but not yet Vegas, if you add that to VP22 it will be a game changer. This is a demonstration that took all of 5minutes to create, running scene detect + reframing widescreen to portrait, and every key

RE: Psd Layer Splitter Script
@jetdv I didn't know that the Across Tracks option worked with .psd, thanks for the guidance. I still think that @zzzzzz9125 script is a good option as it makes it easier to distribute these streams across the timeline and saves time. I can import

RE: Vegas Pro Edit 365 AI Smart Mask 2.0 does not work
@Joseph-Pace Here's an example of what I meant in my first post. Notice the order of the Fx chain with crop coming after AI Smart Mask. I can't really test this very well as my laptop is just too slow to render smart mask frames. Track motion also

RE: Frame rate change to digitized 8mm film
16 fps (apparently the minimum fps at which the human eye perceives continuous motion) @Dexcon Actually no. At 16fps the flicker would be unwatchable. 8mm projectors have a three bladed shutter so you actually see each frame three times. So

RE: New Dell 7770 and Vegas 20 build 411 keeps freezing
Try Prestazioni to see what the GPUs are doing. You can make a 25p timeline and add your 50p footage onto it. Right click and "add at project framerate" for 2x slow motion. It should play back more smoothly, too. You can also add a velocity envelope

RE: How to Improve Video Export Quality in VEGAS Pro?
MagixAVC with Mainconcept is fine with enough bitrate. I'm less impressed with QSV. For final renders I often use x264 through Voukoder with a CQ of 19 or so. Using too low CQ settings, can/may result in very/too high peak bitrates in scenes with

RE: Best setting for uploading CGI
@Gaz-Spitfire Yeah. Rippling waves, grain, and fog are the worst enemies of modern streaming video delivery, because compression limits the available bitrate where it is needed the most. I would try the Animation Tune in Voukoder with CRF 18 and 1

Green flashes in Vegas 21 build 315

... when I play the timeline, I find this to feel like it is to fast (it feels like a speed up) Back in analogue days, this was always the case with filmed US TV series (NTSC 24 fps) played on a telecine on TV in Australia (PAL 25 fps) - there was

RE: video is blocky/choppy
If you want 24p, you should film in 24p. When filming in 24p, shuttertime becomes very important to get natural motion blur, the so called 180 degree rule. If not obeying this rule 24p will still not look cinematic and panning still jittery. To obey
