RE: Vegas 15 doesen't load Plural Eyes extension
Thinking now that my purchase was premature, as I do a lot of multi camera work. Sure, I can still sync up in 13 and open in 15, but that's not acceptable. You may hope the new option to synch multicam events on different tracks in the update of

RE: Multi camera editing with AMD GPU / vegas 15 (& 14, & 13 ...)
There was another report re. the HD 7950 GPU here, and I've also confirmed this with my HD 6970 card in VP13 and 15. It happens with the slip tool as well as the slide tool, and it happens whether or not GPU acceleration of video processing is

RE: Vegas 15 doesen't load Plural Eyes extension
I recently pulled the trigger on Vegas Pro 15 upgrade. When neither Pluraleyes 2, or 3.5, of which I have both, would load, I ran across this thread. Thinking now that my purchase was premature, as I do a lot of multi camera work. Sure, I can still

RE: Performance for Multicam Edit
Vegas is CPU/GPU bound for preview performance. I have only done 4 track multicam edits using Vasst UltimateS pro (which only handles 4 tracks). They used to make Infiniticam for 99 tracks, but it has been discontinued as of Vegas 13. I have noticed

RE: AMD RX Polaris/Vega edit 4k?
Hi. Yes i have an AMD Radeon, RX480 8GB version. I can get solid 50fps timeline playback, drops to about 20 fps going through a transition, this is without proxy files. If i create proxy files then there's no lag, even if i'm doing multicam with 2

Performance for Multicam Edit
I'm hoping to get feedback on Vegas 14/15 performance for a multicam edit. I just upgraded to V15 and have 7 tracks with about 8 hours of footage each (about 1.2 TB total) in mp2 and prores formats. I created proxy files for each clip. Vegas is very

RE: 1950x Threadripper CPU to Nvidia NVENC Render Benchmark
Sorry, Wolfgang, I'm a little confused by your comment about Threadripper. I didn't post any stats for editing. My main editing concern was editing slows down over time, especially noticeable when opening the pan/zoom window. That's still there,

RE: threadripper test / system recommendations for vegas 15
I'm using a Ryzen 7 1800x, a gtx 970, and 32GB DDR4. I can edit 4K pretty smoothly with it, though I'll make 1080p proxies for multicam with more than one 4k angle. What effects are you using?

Is there a 30 day money back policy?
I bought the upgrade to make multicam videos sync and edit easier. I've been fooling with this thing for 2 weeks without getting anywhere. Is it possible to get my money back?

RE: 3 hours to sync video with audio multicamera
There is a max of tracks you can use for multicam editing. The only possibility you have to use them at once is 3 videotracks with 1 audio track in your case.I advice you to do the sinc with your audio track and 1 other track with the audio from a

3 hours to sync video with audio multicamera
I just bought the upgrade to Vegas movie 14. A few days ago, I tried to sync 4 video segments (each on their own video/audio tracks) of 25 minutes each with a separate audio track using Movie Studio 14. It took 2-3 hours to do the audio sync and

RE: How to max render acceleration settings (Preferences) in Vegas 15.
So, there's no particular Preference settings or rendering codecs for GPU acceleration? Vegas is just faster with nVidia CUDA based GPUs?... The new MAGIX AVC/AAC encoder can use NVENC (not CUDA) on supported NVIDIA GPUs, and QSV on supported Intel

RE: Vegas 15 - change framerate in many clips by one click
First, 50 and 25 are compatible in the same project. Second, are you sure what undersampling does and why you need it? For most of us, it gets used once in a blue moon, not as a general editing tool. Third, you would change your clip properties in

RE: Vegas 15
It might have been a good idea to have been clearer on the render speed claims, but I have done a few more quick tests, and have discovered something. Altarvic was correct in that the new Magix codecs must be used in order to see a speed benefit.
