3 Questions For Vegas Pro

Hey everyone, been awhile since I've been on here I have 3 questions for you all today.

1. Any updates in Vegas Pro 23 release date? Saw it said early September.

2. I saw awhile back that someone made a few scripts for Davinci Resolve for tiktok style edits with the fade up words and bevel and deep glow that after effects has, I was wondering how comes no one made something like that for Vegas yet? I know there's the pro type tool but it can be so much better.

3. Will there ever be a official Vegas Pro discord server or something like that? That would be really neat. Everyone uses discord now.

I don't think there will be any official Vegas Pro discord server anytime soon, and the forums are decently organized. I'm pretty sure you can just use something like paint . net, and there's text plugins you can download such as 3D Text formations that can add Bevel. I'm also waiting for the Vegas Pro 23 release date.

If anyone has any information... the last I heard, they're testing a new version, but it's only a beta.

I hope it's soon, because I want to update my Vegas 18 😂

@AnkarosEdits21 Discord strikes me as disorganized by design. Seems to be allot of gamers there that might be attracted to Vegas, however. So it might pay for Vegas to have an official presence there. I stumbled across a Vegas edit-related server there called BunnyHop that you might like. There's a Voukoder Pro server there but I prefer the more traditional Voukoder web site myself.

Oof, yeah, you're worse off than me, I'm on 21, and just missed out on 22, since I didn't realize 22 would be out so quickly.

Nothing has been announced regarding 23 as far as I know. Keep an eye out for a promotion campaign which usually precedes releases.

Oof, yeah, you're worse off than me, I'm on 21, and just missed out on 22, since I didn't realize 22 would be out so quickly.

You can still get it I use the subscription. I'm really thankful that they came out with that.

I'm apart of alot and there all really organized there are a few editing Vegas Pro servers too for edits. I just wished there was somewhere official where we can share our Vegas creations. This is such a a underrated software. Also as for the scripts why hasn't there been anymore there the Vegasaur and the flow graph plugin but that's it for scripts/plugins as far as I'm aware.

@AnkarosEdits21 there are lots of scripts floating around. Plugins? Boris FX Continuum, Newblue FX, Sapphire, Pixelan, proDAD, Happy Otter Scripts, and more. You can find a list HERE. As for others writing scripts, there are, maybe invest in the time to learn how to do it yourself? @jetdv comes up with some great ones.

VEGAS Pro 23 is coming according to the developers that sometimes stop by. What will it bring? We will find out when they decide to inform us. It is like any software release, they never tell you anything until it is time.
