Vegas won't let me type a dash (ALT+0150). I can see it while typing, but it doesn't appear on the screen. My customer insists on it. Does anyone know how to write it? Thanks you!
Confirmed – does not appear in either Titles and Text or Legacy Text. Does it have to be that specifically instead of - which works fine?
I suppose you could create the title using that character in a paint program and save as a PNG with a transparent background and just drop the image onto the timeline.

@Ondej-Svato@jetdv Both Boris Title Studio & NB Titler do the Alt+0150 thing if that's any help
@john_dennis You missed a bit I think, Alt+0150 to make a long – not a reg short - but you inadvertently got it right because Protype does do it.
@Howard-Vigorita Doesn't work, it's not a reg - it's a long – , earlier I tried copying Unicode U+2014 / Alt+0150 from Character map, & i just tried it from one of your links.
@Former user Looks like the reg - can be stretched into a long one -with the Full Width font from either of those links... it doesn't seem to work in this comment but it works in Titles & Text :
Other fonts like this one do work here: uʍop ǝpısdn
