Suddenly, files that were imported well appear as unreadable. If the files were taken with conon eos r3, the ipb file is loaded in Vegas 21, but only files taken with all-i cannot be read. Why is that?
Even after uploading, the screen is immediately black. This is the latest version of Vegas Pro, and the same is true for both the desktop and laptop.
@yoo-changyun Do not use Enable Legacy AVC Decoding. That option is on the File I/O tab in Preferences.

Intra seems very broken on Vegas, even AVC 420 8bit with Nvidia GPU decoding.
But you say "Suddenly, files that were imported well appear as unreadable" which gives the impression you never had any problem, and now you do. These problem intra files require a GPU decoder, so if you use legacy AVC or have GPU decoding turned off the video won't load at all.
Your file behaves the same as the other files I showed above for me.
You could transcode it. I am not on latest build, others with b208 can test for you, hopefully with a mix of AMD, Nvidia and Intel GPU decoders.

Yes, I have the same symptom. I also have this problem. I am using the latest build of Vegas Pro 21.
Tried the file on my computer. Spec's in Signature.

I don't want to change the settings in VP because that would mean restarting the program, at the moment I have the VFX Search populated with all the presets, (If you search in the VFX window it will only find the main fx names, but if you scroll down through the fx's the search then finds all the presets)

I had no trouble playing that clip on my laptop with preview set as high as Good-Full. Rock solid playback. There was slight blipping of the frame rate at Best-Quarter where it occasionally dropped to around 55 fps but the visual was smooth. At Best-Half and Best-Full the frame rate was bouncing around between 30 and 40 the whole time. If I wanted to edit a longer project with media like this at Best-Full, I'd temporarily set the project to 29.97 (Ntsc) during edit and change it back to 59.94 for the final render. But in practice I wouldn't bother... 4k video looks good enough for me for edit at Preview-Full. My 32 gb 12900h laptop is set to use 3060 main gpu and IrisXe igpu for decoding running the latest Nvidia and Intel drivers.

Perhaps you're not "doing this", but your GPU is. Have you considered decoding with the on-die Intel® UHD Graphics 770 video adapter?
@yoo-changyun Getting good results with this Intel Graphics Driver on my 12900h laptop as well as my Arc-equipped desktops. If you have an Intel driver installed and don't see the igpu as a decoding option in Vegas, suggest you re-install selecting the option to Execute A Clean Installation.
