No, it doesn't crash, "only" it freeze about 1-2 minutes, then everything will be normal again..

I think it's the same, if the project's long enough it will pause and then recover.

1) It freeze for 1-2 minutes even with short projects - by me.

2) I think if a video editor use the word "PRO" in the name, this serious bug is unacceptable

3) Since years!!!

The main way I can still trigger this bug is if I undo deletion of a clip while playing with autoripple on. Just autoripple alone while playing back doesn't usually trigger a pause.

Give 19.424 a try- it's quite good overall.

I tried V19 381 and in 1 minute i can reproduce the issue.
(Fresh Win10 install, latest drivers, perfect PC)

I cannot believe that V11 was the last one without this BIG bug. :(

What ist the reason you do not try the Version 19/424 or 19/458?

Ok, i tried with the very latest 458 build.

You can see here we can have the bug in less than 30 seconds:

Playback start from 0:34, freezing at 1:01 and i can work again from 2:47..

All this without any compressed video, only generated media event was used!

My PC is perfect, not a single hardware issue, official, fresh windows 10-64bit, 16GB ram, 1660Ti, etc.

This is a serious bug, and with 20 years of editing experience i cannot accept an answer like

"why don't you stop playback before delete"?

This is fixed in the update we will release on Wednesday (barring any last-minute show stopping disaster).
