How to make a Grid with many Videos

Hey Guys. I searched Google and Youtube and it didn't help me!

I have about 40+ Videos sent by people for a music video part, where they are singing a verse.

What needs to be done is to have all of these videos in one shot, in a grid.

Question is. How to do it AUTOMATICALLY without a need to cut and move each File manually around the frame...

Hope there is an automatic way to do it... Please help.

By the way new build of Vegas 17 is Great. Everything Works Fine, Stable and Effects also work properly now. Thanks to the Developers !

Figured it out. I was selecting the track and not the clip. Is there a way to specify custom crop dimensions like 640*540 and keep the clips together vs spread out? Instead I precropped every image and had to adjust my project settings

Try afterwards by
1. Track motion with or without Pan/Crop.
2. Track FX Picture in Picture

thanks @lee-g, unfortunately I can't get Nested Projects to work - constantly crashing, so while this would help as a template, if I can't embed it in my video, I won't be able to use it.
