Jumping Shifting View

Am I the only one this happens to? I'll have multiple video and audio tracks in the timeline. I'll scroll down to a track that I want to edit, click on it, and wham, my view instantaneously shifts upward and the track I wanted to edit is no longer in view.

Has anyone else encountered this? How do I avoid it? Thanks for your help.

I had a problem something like that affecting timeline zooming... turned out to be a loose wheel on my mouse. I wasn't able to find a Vegas setting to ignore the mouse wheel, even in internals, so I disabled it in the mouse driver.

Try a reset https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-can-i-reset-vegas-pro-to-default-settings--104646/

Eric - thanks for the suggestion. I'm going to work on it. Had to reinstall Vegas after reset--some issue with scanning for VSTs. Thanks again
