Map animation

As for Peter_P's RouteAnimation FX, it obviously doesn't matter where the DLL is saved. After downloading and unzipping, I simply copied it to a directory outside the VEGAS installation, and then executed this command as administrator:

regsvr32 'D:\VEGAS add-ons\RouteAnimationX64_V1.02\RouteAnimationX64.dll'

After that, the "Plug-in Chooser - FX" listed it in the "Third Party" folder. And it seems to work fine!

I'm using VP 16.0 (build 424) on Windows 10 Pro. I don't have another VP version installed, and never had.

Awesome! Thank you all for explaining that! I'll give it a whirl. Thanks Peter for creating this plugin and I hope you keep on creating more amazing things!

Confirmed after editing the batch file with the exact path to the .dll and running the batch file as admin, plugin shows up in VEGAS.

@Peter_P

That's a very well done and extremely useful Fx for anyone wanting to create map animations. It's certainly a lot easier and faster than using PhotoShop. Thank you so much for sharing.

@Former user

Thanks for the video tutorial. Very nice. It would have certainly saved me time figuring out how to add the start and end keyframes.

Thanks, I’m happy to see that so many now got it to work directly for the actual Vegas pro version and have fun to use it.

I don't have Vegas Pro but my 2c will be to look at freeware http://www.routegenerator.net/

Peter_P's free plug-in does the same and can be used directly in Vegas Pro and Movie Studio (which Route Generator does not).
