My understanding, which is usually wrong, is that Mocha Pro comes only with the subscription. If you want to continue to use it, you have to subscribe. Now, I don't know if it will overwrite the previous builds of Mocha Pro. I would save all of those files/installations to another location just in case.
Oh, in the other forum, I ran a quick render test comparing VP22, 23, and 2026.
That still doesn't really clarify things. You get the mocha pro plug in, rather than the standalone version, but is that plugin the FULL version? Or is it locked to Mocha?
Right now I can't seem to get anyone to confirm authoratatively either way.
where can i get again & again VEGAS hub subscription in future even after boris VEGAS like I just want stock video footages mostly. so beside pexels can someone suggest my any free or cheaper if VEGAS hub is not coming in future more.
if yes then can u guide me how can i get Vegas hub again & again which can be used with Boris's VEGAS
It would be cool if Boris also grabbed Hitfilm so that Vegas could have an additional FX pipeline. I still love this combo using the integration conduit.
@Vdanny several reasons why this probably is very unlikely...
1) I think Boris FX expects to be able to develop a pipeline that matches or exceeds anything HitFilm offered. 2) The HitFilm video engine is obsolete (which was one of the big reasons FXhome abandoned it). 3) Since FXhome has not made it Hitfim open source, I suspect they have no inclination to actually sell it either. (But you never know). 4) It is unlikely any an engineering team, support team and product team associated with HitFilm would come over in such an acquision, making it very difficult and costly for Boris FX to restart development on it again.
@VEGASDerek, Am curious to know what the transfer from Magix to BorisFX means to the developers of VEGAS Pro. Will the current VEGAS Pro team also move to BorisFX? In any case, the best of luck to you and the team!
Reading the article and and listening to the video, and yes, it seems that Video Pro X and Video Deluxe have ran their course.
When an "equity" firm took over Corel, where Pinnacle Studio, Videostudio Pro, Paintshop Pro and other software were, lots of promises made initially, but that was to keep people buying. They didn't develop the software any further. No bug fixes and shutting down the user forum, beta testing, and facebook page. Still you can buy 3 year old software at close to it's original price if you want.
