My Radeon™ RX Vega 64 is not listed as supported by the Enterprise driver, but the Enterprise driver is offered as an option for it, and does install. So that's really confusing. I had 20.Q1.1 and I've updated to 20.Q1.2.

I think you're just missing game-specific tweaks. And any board specific-optimizations targeted for CAD unless you have a Pro card. Here's what the Q1 release notes say:

AMD Radeon™ Graphics Support Starting in 19.Q2, AMD is including Radeon products in our Enterprise driver.This is being done in consideration of the fact that enterprises use both professional, commercial, and consumer hardware.This driver is recommended for Radeon hardware being used in commercial use cases with productivity applications. This includes users who need to review CAD data as part of their workflow.It is not recommended for gaming. Workstation performance, features, and application certifications do not apply to Radeon hardware and no end user benefit will be observed without Radeon Pro hardware.

They include the Vega family and the Radeon VII in the listing right below that statement.

You do not have Enterprise driver. Here is a couple screen shot of mine.

Hey Nick. I am as confused as you about your screen shot. As long its works well all that matter.

I spoke too soon. Had 2 instant-full-black-screen crashes in the last 2 days, while doing nothing particularly unusual (wasn't using Vegas). Previously had one such crash 2 weeks ago when using the 20.Q1.1 driver. I think I'll give "Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.2.2 Recommended (WHQL)" a go if I get any more. Could be a zillion other things besides the GPU driver, but I guess it's the first thing to suspect.

Had 2 instant-full-black-screen crashes in the last 2 days

I installed the Enterprise package the other day and got the same thing. The screen randomly but often flashed black for around 1 sec for no apparent reason while using Excel, Outlook, browser etc - or doing nothing. After uninstalling Enterprise and re-installing the normal Adrenaline package, the black flashing continued in the same manner. The 28" Samsung 4K monitor was less than 3 weeks old and was connected via HDMI. Perhaps the Enterprise package upsets/wrecks HDMI somehow. The black flashing problem was solved by changing the cable connection to DisplayPort.

@Dexcon Interesting. Mine stays black. At first I thought it was a full system crash with immediate auto-reboot, but actually now I think it's just graphics. I have a 4K LG TV and a 1920x1200 ASUS monitor both connected via HDMI. Displayport is an option on the ASUS monitor, and I ran it like that for 5 years, so I might try that. I'm stuck with HDMI on the TV, but I might switch it for a proper monitor at some point, now that I know I love 43" UHD as my main screen. My Windows is way out of date (deliberately), and Vega GPU is also quite old now, so I have a ton of old AMD drivers to try.

Don't know if you saw the recent gpu tweak update which Asus released for their Vega64 just a few months ago... and I wonder if their tweaks need to be reapplied after driver clean-outs with DDU.

@Howard-Vigorita When I got my card, Asus Tweak Update II wouldn't install on my machine. Can't remember the exact details, but it was possibly because I'm running an old version of Windows 10. I didn't really mind that, as I'm not a gamer, but I may give it another try.

Anyway thanks for the prompt, because that Asus page reminded me that the last driver offered by Asus themselves for my card was from June 2018. So if I continue to have trouble with the AMD Enterprise driver, that Asus driver should be one of the next 2 to try, along with the latest AMD Adrenalin driver.

Had another graphics crash. This time I was analyzing various different iPhone video files in VP17 build421 and it did crash moments before my displays went black.

The previous crash, I was using Reaper and didn't see anything crash before the blackout.

I've installed Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.4.2 instead of the Enterprise driver and will see how it goes. If I get crashes with this one, I'll try the ASUS driver for my card from 2018.

Another sudden blackout with 20.4.2 so I've now gone to 18.10.16 which is the last one listed by ASUS on their drivers page for my card (ROG-STRIX-RXVEGA64-O8G-GAMING).

(I wonder if VCE rendering quality is any different with an older driver... (Edit: Just to follow up, I did a VCE AVC render from Happy Otter Scripts RenderPlus with the 18.10.16 driver and it was identical to the one I had done with driver 20.4.2.))

I did try ASUS GPU TweakII V2.1.7.1 again and I remembered why it wouldn't run the first time. I get a prompt "Load vender.dll Fail. Please install VGA driver.":

I didn't get anywhere troubleshooting that so I've uninstalled it.

After next blackout, will try 20.2.2, which is AMD's current "recommended" driver.

If that blacks out, I'll try connecting one of my 2 displays with a DisplayPort cable. They're both connected with HDMI, which is the only option the TV has.

I'm wondering if your issue might be something more elementary than drivers. I'm thinking gpu-fan, power supply, gpu-clock, or gpu-bios. If your fan and power supply are hooked up and in good health, you might try flipping the gpu-bios switch to the position in the direction of the fan. That switches the board to a secondary bios enabling low-power presets which might be called for if you have multiple hdmi displays which cause the board to draw too much power.

From my other thread on the VEGA... I've recently installed Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.4.2 instead of the Enterprise driver.  So far, so good...  Sometimes I can get V17 to crash if I move Vegas windows back & forth between my 3 screens, especially if they are set to different resolutions...  However, my 3rd screen is running off the Intel iGPU so I get a boost from Intel's QSV...  I'm not sure if the Vegas driver update, Intel update, or moving the Intel cable from HDMI to DisplayPort did the trick, but so far so good with this setup...(The (2) VEGA screens have always been DisplayPort...) I have a 1000W PSU, so I know power is not an issue... It doesn't even run warm...

BTW, I can get Vegas 17 to crash on my laptop with built-in RTX 2060 pretty easily... It's still newer to me & I'm playing around with drivers & settings but as soon as I pulled-up a project with 12 video & audio tracks it locked-up and the laptop has 16GB of DDR4 & a 1TB M.2 drive for video...
