@ngjb Those were super-cool! Well done! How were you able to get the shots at the Getty? The last time I tried to shoot there, they wouldn't allow tripods.

Thanks.... They still don't allow tripods so I used tables and other platforms in the facility to shoot.

I made another 48 Hour Film Project. This one I shot entirely on a Google Pixel 5 phone with FilmicPro application. I used some Moment filters to try to avoid over-exposure or under-exposure while keeping the effective shutter speed at 1/48 s. I am obviously still learning on that task.
I also used LED light panels for the indoor shots (including the car interior, since the car scene was obviously done with green-screen...)
Enjoy!

As always with my short, two-day, zero-budget movies, I made a commentary track:

IAM4UK, indeed, I enjoyed your short movie (and the commentary track that makes your approach explicit). What I appreciated most from your story was the counter-cultural movement away from revenge or punishment to reclamation.

I've just finished and uploaded the video of the penultimate song and video from my upcoming album. This track has been in the works for the past three to four months. In that time I've survived getting the dreaded Covid amongst other things.

I used a some stock video and video that I filmed to accompany the audio which I think worked out quite nicely.

The song (both parts) runs for about ten minutes, so definitely not for those who love three and a half minute songs. The audio was tracked and mixed in Cakewalk with the final mastering done in Adobe Audition. The video was produced in Adobe After Effects and Magix Vegas.

I hope that you enjoy this track as much as I enjoyed putting it together.

@PeterH for me, it was 10 minutes well spent! Love the music! Sounds great over my M Audio speakers! Well mixed!

@PeterH what speakers did you mix down with? In Vegas, I am guessing you did all the multicam work, yes? Was the final audio used in the rendering?

I mixed down on Yamaha studio monitors. Yes, I used three Sony HD cameras and a GoPro for the keyboard player. I used the GoPro because it's got a nice wide angle. The keyboard player's room is really small. The graphics were rendered in After Effects and the image sequences were imported into Vegas. There were approximately 25 video tracks from the various cameras. I then imported the final audio master into Vegas and rendered the final mp4 using Handbrake.

I'm a long term vegas user, thought I'd share my first edit with v19. I have to say I LOVE v19 so far. Totally stable on my PC - I've turned off live save for the first time in years!

This is a real estate tour I made for a local agent. Filmed on Air 2s and A7siii. Lots of fun trying to make the most of presenters who are new to all this, and I never quite manage to match the grading between drone and camera, but it was great to have a shoot with nice weather for a change! Hope you enjoy watching a few seconds.

That is really very good. I see what you mean about the color grading difference between the drone camera and the 'ground' camera which I imagine was mounted on some sort of gimbal mount. But really, would a potential buyer of that excellent property really base their buying decision on the color grading difference? I think not.

Similarly, I find a problem with color grading between the denser colors from my GoPro Black 8 as against the softer colors from my Sony FDR-AX100E.

You've done well with the audio - dialogue was clear with non-intrusive background noise. A big plus which is sometimes underrated - bad audio can undermine even the best video.

My wife loves watching House Hunters International and the house that you've featured in this video would appeal to her a lot. Unfortunately, it's probably out of our price range and besides, being on the other side of the world, we're not able to arrange an inspection because under local lockdown rules (not dissimilar to 'home arrest') we're not able to travel more than 5 kilometres from our home - and sadly boarding an international or even a domestic airplane is currently an unrealisable dream. Disappointingly, this is the truth of the hermit nation of Australia. Unfortunately, I'm now a bit too old to change citizenship to a more enlightened country.

Thanks @Dexcon for taking the time to post, much appreciated. Sorry to hear about the lockdown stress in Australia, I hope you have some relief soon. Filming solo property tours was one of my few escapes from the house during our lockdowns - very lucky to have the space.

I tracked down the biggest source of my grading issues, I hadn't spotted the 32ND filter supplied with the Air2S drone has a terrible purple colour cast to it - I just thought it was the DJI colour! So now I've stopped using that I should have a much more 'neutral' start to match the cameras. Rookie error on my part!

Barn is currently selling for £1.3m I think (horses sadly not included!).
