I have been using Vegas Pro 19, which I purchased in 2022. I read some while back that others were also having problems with bits of random audio at the start and/or end of their rendered videos.
Thanks for your advice. How do I do what you suggest? I'm willing to give anything a go, as this problem is so annoying, I've recently gone back to Sony Vegas Movie Studio 12 Platinum. And that only cost me £43!
Whatever you are seeing in 19 may not be related to issues in 22. The media decoder, audio and video engine have all gone through substantial changes since then.
I don't understand then what "Random part of audio track at start of render" means- doesn't random mean it is audio from a random place on the timeline?
There was an issue with noise at the end of certain audio events (never experienced it myself). As far as I have seen on the forum that's gone with newer versions of VEGAS. You could try a free trial of VP 22 and see how it handles your project.
Oh, I see what you mean. Yes, it just has either a popping noise at the start or else a random piece of audio from the timeline.
If this problem persists I shall think of trying other editing programmes. It's a shame, but I can't put up with this. I've got a lot of work I want to do, and at the moment I can't get started.
I'm trying to recall but this was with media that's generated by a computer vs a camera? I thought there were workarounds like doing a conversion of at least the audio.
Perhaps search the forum for other advice.
If you have media or a problem project file you'd like me to test I have VP 21 and 22 installed here and can see if there's still an issue.
