Voukoder is a system-wide video and audio encoding service for Windows. It enhances your media encoding experience by providing various encoders (both CPU and GPU-based) and a set of post-processing filters. Let’s dive into the details:
Purpose: Voukoder is designed to improve your video and audio encoding workflow. It integrates seamlessly with several non-linear editing (NLE) applications, making it a valuable tool for content creators and video editors.
Supported Applications:
Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Media Encoder: Voukoder acts as a versatile video encoding plugin within the Adobe environment.
DaVinci Resolve: It offers encoding options, including H.264, H.265, ProRes, and more.
VEGAS Pro: Voukoder provides straightforward video encoding capabilities.
VirtualDub 2: Another NLE application that benefits from Voukoder’s services.
Features:
Video Encoding: Voukoder supports various encoders, including NVENC (SDK 12), FFmpeg, and others.
Audio Encoding: It also handles audio encoding tasks.
Post-Processing Filters: Voukoder includes a set of filters to enhance your media content.
Voukoder is a free app that once installed will appear as a rendering option under 'Render As' in Vegas Pro.
Additional information: it automatically adepts Vegas project settings (no need to choose a suitable rendertemplate) it renders faster (with GPU support) with better output quality at smaller filesizes and mostly without any issues.
If the crash is processing the timeline for encoding, Voukoder won't help. If it's at the encoding step it may; definitely worth a try!
Most of the time crashes during rendering happen when GPU accelerated support of video processing is enabled together with NVENC encoding with the Magix AVC/HEVC rendertemplates. An issue I never have seen when NVENC encoding with Voukoder AVC/HEVC.
I HAD ENOUGH OF VEGAS PRO! IT KEEPS CRASHING, GIVING ME A "VEGAS Pro has stopped working" MESSAGE, RENDERING STUCK AT ANY PERCENT AND BECAUSE OF THIS! I WANT YOU TO IMPROVE VEGAS PRO WITHOUT CRASHING AND NO RENDERING STUCK!
@Damian-Manczak It may not be Vegas that is the problem but your system or media. If you want help solving your problem please provide info starting with Sections B & C of this thread
