Vegas 22 won't start after cleaning PC.

When you say "won't start", what specifically is happening. Does the splash screen appear? If so, when happens...does it just disappear? Do you get a message? We really need more information if you want anyone here to help you.

NO the splash screen does not appear, ive checked task manager and the file only pops up for a second, also i have obviously tried to uninstalling, downloading, and updating

What does cleaning mean? Are the latest .net framework and C++ libraries installed?

"Cleaning" sometimes means a Registry Cleaner has been used and sometimes these can be over enthusiastic and cause problems.

We wait to hear exactly what cleaning was done. We appear to have two posters here - Vladimir-Priby & snap55555?

I am an SV user since Sony Vegas 12. This has never happened to me. Yes. I have used Ccleaner. Even with registry cleaning. When I want to start the program, the wheel spins as if it is loading. But then nothing. When I run the program as administrator, tables pop up asking if it can make changes, after consent nothing again. After uninstalling SV22, restart PC, after reinstalling, restart PC again. No change when starting SV22.

Maybe because it's not a legit copy. There is no such thing as SV22.

It does not matter how long you are using Vegas. CCleaner is what has caused you this issue. I am very familiar with this tool, and i can tell you, you have to be very careful with it when selecting certain options when cleaning. Especially the registry cleaning feature, its a bit too aggressive, And im afraid thats what happened in your situation.

Resetting Vegas by holding down the Ctrl and Shift keys while double-clicking on the Vegas Pro icon should yield you some result.

I' haven't used ccleaner for years since they had virus issues. Been using Revo which is very good but also requires you to be careful with it's registry cleaning options.

Možná proto, že to není legální kopie. Nic takového jako SV22 neexistuje.

SV 22 = Sony Vegas 22. :-)

Jsem uživatelem SV od Sony Vegas 12. To se mi nikdy nestalo. Ano. Použil jsem Ccleaner. I s čištěním registru. Když chci spustit program, kolečko se točí, jako by se načítalo. Ale pak už nic. Když spustím program jako správce, vyskočí tabulky s dotazem, zda může provádět změny, po souhlasu zase nic. Po odinstalování SV22 restartujte PC, po reinstalaci restartujte PC znovu. Žádná změna při startu SV22.

Solve the problem by reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++.

Good..... Just don't use CCleaner to clean your Registry again.

To add balance here I have used CCleaner registry clean many, many times with V13 - V22 installed and never had a problem.
