Vegas Pro 18 - Finally satisfied

AlesCZ wrote on 10/22/2020, 11:40 AM

Hello,
I want to thank you for the improvements and major fixes in Vegas Pro 18. My mp4 files from action cameras are now edited smoothly to 60fps 4K (in previous versions around 3-10fps). The problem with random black images/frames has also finally been solved. Motion tracking is great now. And more, and more great things...

Great satisfaction and thanks!

Keep up the good work!

Good to hear and enjoy your VP18!

Btw, perhaps you may want to share as well what action camera do you use, also, what spec of your PC that makes the VP18 stable as well.

This can one of good reference for other users too.

I'm VERY happy with how stable V18 is. Spent a whole week working on paid projects. I was able to render (5) projects in the background while editing a 6th in the foreground with no issues on my 9900K system. Details here:

Had a few lockups but only when editing 4k h.265 multicam without proxies. Using proxies till I'm done with the multicam edit fixed that issue for me. There are still issues with the 5700xt navi on my b-machine doing pip-fx, however. But no lockups... it just masks outside the pip-window to black unless I add a matching bezier fx mask.
