Vegas Pro 20.0 Build 411 - Preview window does not update in real time

Hello.

Very recently after the 411 update when I am trying to add a chrome key, or titles, or even adjust the pan and crop the preview window won't update until I close the effect and click away from the affected clip and back onto it on the timeline. This is very frustrating when trying to fine tune the sliders on a chroma key or anything else for that matter. Has anyone else noticed this or similar problems? For added info I often use 4K footage and create video proxy files for them for smoother performance.

Reason is driverversion of NVidia above version 522.30
Solution is going back to that driverversion or change settings for Nvidia following this

Sorry that I did not really looked to your signature because this issue is very similar to a known issue with Nvidia

Which AMD driver? Haven't seen reports of this with AMD GPUs before.

@Ardat Just updated my 6900xt machine from 23.7.1.to 23.7.2 and no issues. AMD recently moved all the graphics and display settings to the gaming tab which makes sense to me since I don't have any gaming apps and disable every one of those options. You might want to check that Wait For Vertical Sync is not selected in either the driver or the Vegas Preview Device preferences.

Like @Howard-Vigorita, no issues with the latest driver. You mention you recently updated to 411, how recent? What drivers were you using before the update?

Have you tried earlier drivers?

Right now, I am using older drivers for my RX 6700XT because of plugin compatibility issues (22.5.1), but other than that, the latest worked ok.

@Reyfox updated from 23.7.1.to 23.7.2 on 8/6. Don't use 3rd party plugins myself so recent updates have been good for me lately. Recent updates integrate directly into the 1st-level win11 context menu. Unlike the Nvidia Control Panel entry relegated to the 2nd-level More-Menu. Older Amd versions after 22.5.1 were also giving me occasional profile resets and display flashing which I have not seen at all for some time.

@Howard-Vigorita, it took Boris to get things working with Title Studio, one reason why I've stayed so long with 22.5.1. I like the simplicity of Ignite Pro 5, but since it's no longer supported (Artist killed it along with FXHome), and I have it in some of my older videos, I like to keep it around. Any driver much newer, and in Vegas, it doesn't work. But it will work in Resolve....strange....

I have the same problem with the video preview window not updating in real time when changing effects, editing lower thirds, etc. I'm on Vegas Pro 20 v411 on a new Asus Zenbook 6404 and nVidia GeForce RTZ 4070 driver version 536.40. Any suggestions? Thanks.
