NVidia driver fix for preview problems in VEGAS Pro

VEGASDerek wrote on 8/22/2023, 11:35 AM

Hello everyone,

We have been working closely with NVidia to address problems with some of their latest drivers for their GPUs which cause some problems with our preview window. They have told us that they believe they have a fix to the problem which will be pushed into their next driver update which will be scheduled to release very soon. Please look for driver version 537.13 when it is available. We will be testing this fix on our systems soon to see if it addresses these problems.

@VEGASDerek, is there a coop. between the Team and AMD?

After Adrenalin Edition 22.5.1 it happens always the dimmed problem for 2nd HDR-display and it's more than 1 year since.
At ADM side, there were hue shifting etc. between while.

Currently, the 23.7.2 works with efficiency, only still keeps dimming 2nd HDR-monitor.
But the most new release 23.8.1 strikes back to the hue shifting again.

VEGAS driver-update show it nevertheless without any verification.
Sigh...

I thought I was the only one with this issue which was present in vegas pro 20 as well...the old OEM driver only works for me. Finally this update might give life to my nvidia 3050 laptop gpu.

Edit: Just installed this game ready driver over my OEM driver without a clean install and it worked very nicely.

Yeah, that is for my office computer. I am also using a laptop which has the NVidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti. now with 537.13

Just tried 537.13 game ready driver on my Asus laptop and the GDI issue is fixed. Tried both auto and prefer performance and fx preview and preview while rendering both work.

However, hvec 4:2:2 banding is still not fixed in 32-bit projects on the laptop.

Strange for me.
On my laptop I tried it twice with that new Game driver and fx preview and visible render preview do not work unless I make the changes in Nvidia settings on "OpenGL DDI-compatability" to prefer comptability

Seems to work here on my laptop both for the nvida settings auto and prefer performance - and also compatibility-

Fx preview is immediately here, and renderings seems to work fine for the nvenc render templates too.

Everything fine here.

I fixed it myself by uninstalling everything of Nvidia on the laptop and after a reboot I saw at the Nvidia settings that the used driverversion is 537.13.
At Vegas all was working well and I saw this
