@Reyfox My Vegas logs report rdna2 cu as: 6900xt=40 and 5700xt=20. I recall seeing some early specs for the 6800 reported as WorkGroupProcessors=30. For prior architecture, Vegas logs say, RadeonVII=24 and VegaM=24. I think those numbers are probably as reported from the OpenCL driver which gets only wgp allocations from the gpu.

@Howard-Vigorita thanks so much for the additional information. I was concerned over what was listed for "compute units" in the Vegas log file. It was one of those things where I was wondering what was wrong with my GPU. Everything else is reported correctly except that.

Another question. Does this mean that Vegas isn't actually "seeing" the full potential of the wgp since only 1/2 of the compute units are listed? I'm trying to wrap my head around this...
