RE: Can Vegas Pro 19 render/export OMF or AAF?
Hi all Just found this thread - I'm in urgent need to work with either AAF, OMF from an multitrack audio project that needs to be synched to multicam. Is there a solution in the meantime or do I need to buy AAtranslator?I find it rather weird that

RE: What is the best graphics card for vegas 21 ?
@Cam I don't know why that is, especially with Vegas is assigning the decoding to your Intel IGP via (auto) option, for your given files it may not be better but generally the expectation is that it should not be worse. What is your CPU, and what

RE: VEGAS Pro 20 Build 326 General Thread
Hi, I just downloaded this program, I did use a Vegas program a couple years ago and then switched to adobe but I wanted to go back to the vegas program. I am trying to use the multicam editing feature. I watched a tutorial on it and followed the

RE: a few thoughts about Vegas multicam editing
I got another multicam project coming up and just thought I'd bring this up again.I honestly don't look forward to working on it thge way it's currently implemented. Wouldn't the virtual multicam track be a good idea? It would make mutlicam editing

RE: Import footage from Canon XF605
@Soon_King The only mp4 formats the xf605 shoots are hevc 422 and 420 10-bit as well as avc 420 8-bit. Vp17 can handle them all with or without joining... but when I shoot multicam, I join them to minimize splits on other tracks. Generally, 420

RE: a few thoughts about Vegas multicam editing
A multicam track isn't needed to display a preview of what is happening on the tracks on the timeline... just enable multicam mode and you get your split screen MC view, the tracks remain the same. When you make a cut to, say, camera 2, it splits

    Vegas Pro MultiCam Crossfade Editing
How do you bloody select ALL of the Transitions AFTERwards to be crossfades? I realize you can do them one at a time, or in 'real time', using Control Z, etc. but if I want to select ALL cuts/transitions the Crossfade selection does NOT seem to

@jetdv is there a demo or example of how Excalibur does multicam? Also that page does not mention V19.

    RE: Multicam Workflow Question
You can cut spaces as needed, and with Ripple turned on everything moves together. (just make sure if you want other audio tracks to move, that any cuts affect events on all the tracks, not just the MC video track) @RedRob-CandlelightProdctns, this

RE: [Closed] VEGAS Pro 21 Build 108 General Discussion
Sounds accurate to me. Yes I'm on a 13900K. I should have specified 60fps IPB. 24fps does indeed play back near perfectly. But 60fps is unusable without proxies. Since there's no change I'll stick to my version as I don't think I need any new

    RE: Computer Upgrade
This may be a silly question, but can you actually feel the speed of an M.2 PCIe drive vs that of a normal 500MB/s+ SATA SSD? It's not a silly question and it depends. The big jump from HDDs is the near-instant seek times as well as the massive

Out of sync video with sound
Can anyone tell me why I'm getting these out of sync markers? I'm using 4 cameras in multicam mode and as you can see by the short video the events seem to be in sync until I slide it over to touch the event next to it. I just can't figure this one

RE: Very Frustrating Rendering with Upscaling v326
@jay-aero The big difference between b214 and b326 is that previously Vegas AI was strictly Intel Open Vino which seemed to always go to an Intel igpu if one was available. Crashed allot doing that with Style Transfer. Now it uses the gpu selected

It even lags in RAM preview, "Good" settings......unbelievable....and this is not new, just a continuation of the s show. C'mon MAGIX, fix this dog!! You sure your system is working okay? I could edit multicam HD on Vegas 12 with a computer a decade

Plural eyes 4 not opening anymore and Maxon support is dead
HI all anyone else stuck in that situation? As it won't show in V20, I tried opening PE4 in V19, where is used to work.It opens the maxon app to sign in...and then nothing. Seriously annoying, as I'm starting a new multicam project. I then tried to

RE: a few thoughts about Vegas multicam editing
I actually had a look at Excalibur. Personally, I found it still too tedious and unintuitive. Vegas could be just cool if they ditched that master track, create it as a virtual track and leave all your cam tracks intact and editable parallel to it.

RE: Best Format to Render as for 4K YouTube?
Been getting good turn around and results uploading 4k and 2k renders made with Magix Hevc presets. I drop down to 2k for some projects if I did much digital zooming of 4k footage. Or in mixed 4k/hd multicam projects to minimize any noticeable

@pierre-k I do have Resolve 18 Studio. Yes, the paid version. But I still use Vegas to edit. I also have other editors. I have one that does multicam editing (up to 6 cameras and 2 audio sources) that is much easier and faster to use than Vegas or

RE: Is there a way to speed up "building peaks"?
To make matters worse, I accidentally stopped the peak building on a small new imported clip, so I selected it and chose " rebuild peaks" ...and vegas now rebuilds ALL the audio peaks instead of just the missing one!So now Vegas rebuilds 30 peaks on

RE: a few thoughts about Vegas multicam editing
I'm not sure I understand...how do you see what's happening on all the other cams simultanously? And this would mean muting / unmuting like 4 or 6 tracks manually for each cut? A multicam track isn't needed to display a preview of what is happening

RE: a few thoughts about Vegas multicam editing
I say ditch the multicam track all together...there's no need for it to exist, just apply all edits directly to the timeline when in MC mode. If performance is affected doing it that way, then save the keystrokes/mouse clicks that switch angles,

RE: Ultimate Vegas Pro PC Build

RE: is there a way to make vegas remember the fx panel status?
OK, your right. I also find my words somewhat offensive. About multicam editing, my workflow would be 1, take the basic color balance at media level (or camera level) 2, adjust individual color tune at event level ...the less plugins you use, the
