RE: Can multicam editing be "undone"?
I wasn't replying to you, lol. I was replying to j-v. The advice you gave would have been great if I had gotten it before I created the problem which inspired the question. I just now saw your advice and will do that in the future. The answer to my

RE: Can multicam editing be "undone"?
My question was how do I revert back to three tracks after instigating multicam mode which places them all in the same track. Thanks for any advice The advice I gave you to duplicate your tracks works for me, for eighteen years in commercial

Or save a version of the 3 tracks before multicam.

RE: Can multicam editing be "undone"?
I ALWAYS render my tracks to new tracks before enabling multicam. For backup and contingencies, and well worth it.

RE: Can multicam editing be "undone"?
Is there any way to "undo" the multicam mode and go back to the original three video tracks? this was the question, I should have mentioned "without starting over"

RE: Can multicam editing be "undone"?
Well they are not in the same place I put them. Where I put them was on three separate video tracks, after instigating multicam editing, all three video tracks are in one video track. My question was how do I revert back to three tracks after

Can multicam editing be "undone"?
Hi, I am in Movie Studio Platinum 16, I started with three video tracks. I instigated multicam editing mode and started to edit. All three tracks are now on one track. In hindsite I should have done any editing to these individual video tracks

Multicam editing
How do I take videos from multiple cameras and create a video showing all? Similar to a Zoom meeting recording. I play music in a trio and since we're isolated from each other we must record separately and combine and sync our performances into

RE: Multicam with Split Screen
This is the classic multicam view, but lets say that i just highlight 2 or more video tracks without entering multi-cam mode but still wanted to see all of the videos in a view like the multi-cam mode, that could be most useful. Then let's say that

Multicam with Split Screen
How about this for a feature enhancement - in the Multicam mode, to be able to output 2 or more takes in a split screen layout - typically side-by-side or one above the other. A range of templated split screen view layouts. Similar to the way that

RE: Multi-cam causing Shift in 2K/4K GoPro Clips?
I'm not sure how the fragments get out of place but the Vegas multicam track creation scheme creates clip fragments in tracks above and below any track that contains clips separated by a gap. Some of the footage I get for edit is shot by cameras

RE: Multi-cam causing Shift in 2K/4K GoPro Clips?
@Howard-Vigorita Is it your sense that this happens because you've made an error of some kind during your editing, or because of some quirk relating to clips that are shorter than others in your multi-take multicam track? We've also found tiny tiny

RE: Multi-cam causing Shift in 2K/4K GoPro Clips?
I sometimes have issues with segmented multicam clips. I put them all in a locked group before creating the multicam track but they come out ungrouped and unlocked when I expand them and I occasionally notice some of the clips have Vegas markings

Slow Multicam Audio Sync
Hi. Newbie to Movie Studio 16 Platinum Build 175 here. I purchased this package to get DVD Architect to use with another editor. However, I'm giving Movie Studio a try to take advantage of the better integration with DVD-A that it offers. I do a lot

RE: Multicam> Expand to Multiple Tracks: Workflow q and Bug r
Thanks @max8 , @set and @OldSmoke for your contributions! Looks like this feature has been around since 2011 and hadn't seen much love & care since? It's definitely got potential, especially if you could use 'Expanded Track' in conjunction with

RE: Multicam> Expand to Multiple Tracks: Workflow q and Bug r
Brainstrust, I've shot a Yoga vid with a single cam / multiple angles. Needless to say the timecode doesn't match, and the duration of the sequences are different every time since this isn't a music vid. After I synchronized the start point,

RE: Multicam> Expand to Multiple Tracks: Workflow q and Bug r
Multicam workflow in Vegas is a further implementation of 'Takes' feature, so, might not work easily or as you expect. I had using it few times many years ago..., but due to confusing workflow after multicam mixing and the need to 'shift' the shot

RE: Multicam> Expand to Multiple Tracks: Workflow q and Bug r
VP is an editing software, first and foremost, and not a live switching software, so I hope I'm not asking to much if I want to edit. The multicam feature IS useful, yes, but unnecessarily cumbersome, and 'the way it works' to loose timeline

RE: Take #'s oddly sized in Multi-cam mode?
I've generated my own 720p MPEG2 version of the 4K file and swapped it for the original after deleting Vegas-generated proxy. My 720p file also then is upscaled to the project propertis and then downsized again for the multicam -- and it looks
