RE: VP20 Hanging on each use (never when rendering)
So....... Tried converting the 10 GoPro clips using Shutter Encoder and the first 3 were very straightforward, and quick to encode. The last 7 just had only 1kb encoded and it shot through them very quickly so had to abandon that. Then I encoded the

    RE: sound glitch
Thank you for your recommendations Gid and John. I tried another faster disk drive but it did not help. It also happens very consistently on two different computers so probably not just a fluke.   Below is the mediainfo report for this clip. Not

RE: Vegas crashing on 4k HEVC import
HEVC isn't a great format for editing- the reason it's used is to reduce bandwidth and capture file sizes on devices like GoPros and phones, though it is getting more widespread. If your computer has an Intel iGPU you can use for decoding it may

RE: Vegas 19 continually crashing, unusable, but 13 stable same PC?
Vegas prefers Intel iGPUs for decoding but that doesn't help you. You could reencode them with software lile ShutterEncoder or Handbrake which should result in stable AVC files. Still, it would be better if they improved decoding for your GoPro

Has anyone been able to read these GoPro GHnnnn,mp4 (Timewarp -timelapse) H.264 AVC files yet with VMS xx? The GoPro Hero 10 records in HEVC and HEVC+H.264 constant frame rate and while I can open GXnnnn (HEVC) files with VMS 17, not the GHnnn.mp4

Agreed. A use Black Bar Fill a fair bit with stills from my GoPro 8. The only control I would like added is the ability to lower the opacity of the background especially for images where the foreground is bright - the background can be a bit

@MindmatterMaybe I see the same only on my laptop using a lot of 4K HEVC 8 bit 50p files, caused by the increasing amount of used memory.I managed to avoid the crashes by changing 2 settings in my Vegas installation.Because I use those GOPro files

RE: Video review play back is lagging
Files from GoPro should be edited using "Create Video Proxy" firstly. Guarantee that playback will be smooth after doing it.

To emphasize, a video proxy is absolutely necessary to preview your footage. i5 is modest, GoPro is bad, 240 fps is ridiculous.
