RE: How is VEGAS Pro 22? Could you share your reviews and experiences?
Just installed and tested multicam sync by audio: none (Mixed audo/Music/Speech) worked correctly for me.

RE: Vegas 23 - list of bugs which I found
Hmm.. It is hard to tell because projects where I have almost 6hours of total material are more smooth than projects where I have only 1h of total but I have almost 900 marks made to song beat for 20minute movie.Yesterday V23 on that project crashed

RE: V22 New Multicam Audio Sync question
It can be used to align two clips. If you use that in a multicam project is up to you - it works also outside a multicam project. The mechanism seems to utilize the waveforms. At has now become much faster. I think it was not tested for s3D yet. But

RE: [Closed] VEGAS Pro 22 Build 93
Multicam Audio synchronization Fails to synchronize a lot faster, but like past Vegas versions it is still completely useless!

RE: Subject: Vegas Pro 23 - Persistent Thumbnail Cache Purging
@Keky Sounds like you do allot of run-and-gun which I don't. I devote a project to each day, venue, and edit-step. I only turn cameras off during intermissions, am able to get rid of all the frames I don't want selecting cameras in multicam edit,

RE: Multicam Workflow Question
I go into multicam mode for the cuts before doing any editing. It really needs to be done that way because multicam mode tosses all the track and event fx. You could throw some fx on the media or output bus but you need all the performance you can

RE: Multi camera
@jay-o No one will be able to help you without detailed info on your footage, system, and settings. As described in the Read Me First post. Fwiw, I do mostly multicam concerts myself but never audio tracks within the multicam track... I record audio

RE: Vegas Pro on Laptop + External
The laptop would benefit from a dedicated GPU. With that it would generally work well. The laptop I use (see signature) does fine for the type of editing you describe (no proxies, normally on AC power, have an internal 2TB NVMe drive.) I leave it on

RE: [Closed] multicam
Presumably you are asking about multicam with Vegas Pro so I've moved your post from the Offtopic section as it will get more response here. Which version of Vegas Pro are you using?

RE: VEGAS Pro 23 build 278 General Discussion
@jacknsb The few times in the past when I experienced the problem I found that as a workaround, I could go back to the fx chain of the clip I wanted to copy cgp settings from, and save cgp as a preset. Then go to the fx chain of another clip and

Problems Rendering Vegas Pro 22 194 project
I am trying to render a project I'm working on using 5 video sources all MP4 files 4 AVC one HEVC. project looks great edited when I play on timeline but when I render one of the files is out of synch by several min. I go back to project play

RE: Do I need to prepare my source files for use in VegasPro?
@alifftudm95 What do you mean, all current GPUs can decode h265 (HEVC) in hardware. VEGAS is also handling these files much better than in the past. Transcoding to ProRes is a fine thing to do though, so not disagreeing with that especially if you

RE: please make muted events (video and audio) more distinguishable.
THIS...again...please please please look into it Magix. It's a real showstopper when working with severy tracks with muted events, like post multicam.

RE: Speech to text usage - worth it?
So got the trial version of Vegas22 but there is no credit included in the trial to try the speech to text function! After finding out the multicam audio sync doesn't sync audio well I might just stick with version 19. 🙁

RE: Vegas Crashes
This is very strange; I wonder what the cause could be.Most of my video files are stored on external USB HD drives though I do use VEGAS and Windows on an internal SSD. If a project needs more performance (multicam) I'll move files to a working

RE: Re-linking projects dead-end?
Among the cameras I use for multicam, my only possible clip-numbering conflict is with some aging jvc ptz cameras whose functionality is somewhat unique. I generally avoid the jvc conflict by creating a unique subfolder for each camera that's in

RE: [Solved] Multi-cam project edit worked superb but ColorGrading Panel unusable
BUT I did find the Color Grading panel was sluggish or downright unusable. My plan was to sync up my six video tracks then solo each one and do some color grading tweaks before I went to multi-cam edit mode. IMO this is where you made the mistake,

RE: Video in preview is not the same as what's showing in multicam
I think that in order to maximize the ability to play multiple tracks simultaneously in multiple preview windows for cuts that they throw away things like fx and apparently stretching. Probably video envelopes too. It seems to keep splits, clip

RE: What is the best graphics card for vegas 21 ?
@Matthias-Claflin There's a conflation of the problem though, the talk is of HEVC 10bit multicam, when I last checked the new HEVC decoder can't play more than 1 video simultaneously without lag so ofcourse it needs proxies for multicam due to

@anthony-chiappette I can't use any version of vp23 for some things but it's been great for me editing, grading, and rendering multicam video projects on an 11900k with a 5080 using the same version driver you mentioned. Maybe you're issue is with

RE: A Candid Story from a User Who Wants to Keep Using VEGAS Pro 23
I've never used Filmora. But I do have Pinnacle (for me it worked great with multicam), Resolve Studio 20, and some other editing software that I have just for nostalgia. It has been quite a while since the release of VP23 and a real update patch.
