RE: VEGAS Pro Feature Requests
One thing I'd like is a switch to lock event position. But unlike the current lock-switch, it should not lock anything else like the trimming, event-fade, grading, or fx. Or perhaps a preference setting to make the current lock-switch behave like

@frOsty : multicam split view without the multicam track enabled??
Hi frOstyon my multicam thread, you commented :A multicam track isn't needed to display a preview of what is happening on the tracks on the timeline... just enable multicam mode and you get your split screen MC view, the tracks remain the same. When

RE: Managing Frame Number View on video clips
@Melachrinoso If you want to manipulate timecode embedded in a clip or inserted manually into Vegas media properties, the Timecode FX will make it visible on the preview screen. I usually apply it as a media fx and manipulate it in media properties

RE: What is the best graphics card for vegas 21 ?
@Cam I don't know why that is, especially with Vegas is assigning the decoding to your Intel IGP via (auto) option, for your given files it may not be better but generally the expectation is that it should not be worse. What is your CPU, and what

RE: VEGAS 20 is Here!
I really would have preferred a modernized multicam workflow without the multicam track and keeping direct access to allt the cam tracks. I really wonder if everybody is happy wih the current implementation… maybe noone does multicam anymore? I use

RE: [Solved] Multicam Monster captions resize
The names unfortunately look like this when the preview is set to a very low resolution. Your preview is set to Auto. Set it to Half or another higher resolution such as Good or Best and this issue will be resolved. Another option is to go to

RE: Multicam Workflow Question
After doing the multicam cuts, I expanded to multiple tracks, then I grouped everything. Then I made a split at the "edit here" marker. Then I dragged the event group after the split, and I started seeing this red indicator at each of the next cut

RE: Multicam Workflow Question
@MikeLV After I come out of multicam edit mode I expand back to original tracks and group everything with the audio mix track so positions stay locked relative to one another. That allows camera-specific grading and tweaking the cuts. I prefer

RE: please make muted events (video and audio) more distinguishable.
Working with a post multicam edit with (not clearly visibly) muted events all over the place, I really missed this feature again.Magix would that be possible, please please?

RE: best graphics card options for playback
I wonder if an Nvidia 4090 in place of my Amd might obviate my needing to switch gpus for multicam... but it's significantly more expensive, harder to fit into a case, throws off allot more heat, and requires a bigger power supply. @Howard-Vigorita

AutoPod-like scripts
As someone who edits Podcast, the tools created by AutoPod, mainly their Multi-cam Editor, save me a ton of time. But they require me to work in Adobe Premiere to edit the podcast I'm working on. I was wondering if there are any scripts that do what

RE: VP21 Build 187 Causes Computer to LOCK
@Howard-Vigorita Did you see any similar issues as the OP here? You also have an 11th gen Intel K CPU with Arc 770? @RogerS I use my Arc a770 as the main Vegas gpu (selected in video prefs and with hdmi plugged into it). But only for multicam edit

RE: [Solved] Vegas Pro 18 crash after crash
Since you have MediaInfo and know how to use, it I'd convert all the Canon All-I clips with Handbrake and then edit normally with file i/o back to defaults. Alternatively you can do the non-legacy AVC decoding with NVIDIA set to off if you don't

4K editing PC
Shooting mostly long gop with my sony's A7IV, FX6 and PXW-Z280 in UHD 8bit. These camcorders I'm currently using the most. Sometimes also some footage from my DJI mini 3 pro is used (when making a aftermovie) Current setup is from summer 2019 and

RE: Vegas Pro 22 AI Fx SUPER slow to render
@Sean-Lester AI Upscales over 1.1x seem to always be increasingly gpu intensive as the scale goes up. Doing that to an fhd clip as an Event FX in a 4k project is a 2x upscale, even without any cropping. Only way I know to speed it up there is to

RE: What is the best graphics card for vegas 21 ?
What type of HEVC is it? Can you share MediaInfo? Intel decoding is the most stable and compatible with HEVC in VEGAS at present. However Intel ARC GPUs aren't the best for 3d performance. I went with a 13th gen Intel K processor for the decoding

120Mbps 60p in a multicam project "may" not preview too well on any system without the help of a "Proxy" and/or or a "Prerender." Or, you might get lucky. Search.

"I'd suggest doing the project at UHD resolution so that generated media, etc. are actually at the higher resolution." That's what I do as well. Thanks John. Since you edit in UHD doesn't your editing process really slow down and become jerky
