Blackmagic HyperDeck not supported

MyChain wrote on 7/4/2022, 11:35 PM

I can't add footage recorded from Blackmagic HyperDeck Studio Mini (.Mp4) on Timeline Vegas Pro 18 (build 527) and 19 (build 643) I don't know how to use them together, But adobe premiere pro can import files.

Thanks

Post Media Info on your HyperDeck mp4 files so we can see what's inside them. Instructions here https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-to-post-mediainfo-and-vegas-pro-file-properties--104561/

It would be no problem if you can set the audio to PCM-Little/Signed and more better with 16bits depth.

I've seen Hyperdeck mp4 issues discussed on the bmd and reddit forums in the past... they usually recommend recording in a ProRes format instead.

ProRes is higher quality and decodes in vegas easier than mp4 anyway.
