Given the promotion around smart mask which is tied to bezier mask and multiple other fixes to bezier masks it's a good question what was fixed.
I am not sure if I'm just missing something but having trouble figuring out how to modify a somewhat faulty smart mask and not getting anywhere. At first I was stymied by not being able to see any update in the preview window as the "Prefer GDI compatibility setting" I had changed in NVIDIA Control Panel to compatible somehow got reset.
I changed that again and while it let me see what smart mask was doing I still don't really see how to control the shape and modify points which I need to do if the subject moves at all (and the initial mask wasn't perfect and mistook part of the subject for the background).
@RogerS I've had different results from this Smart mask, the mask of a woman on a green screen was crap, loads of green could be seen but a woman stood with a multitude of things behind her got a good mask 🤷♂️
But I do think there's some false advertising going on, the video advert implies that this mask would cut out these dancers giving a moving mask, but Smart mask gives one single frame mask & would have to be manually adjusted, there isn't even a way that each frame can be masked and added to create a run of masks,
If they know more perhaps they'd like to make a tutorial as to how

I have the same problem. I thought it was just me doing something wrong. You and Gid are a lot more proficient in Vegas than I am so that confirms to me that it is not my PC causing this situation. I also would like to see a video tutorial on how they used smart mask on those dancers.
