⚠️ (Bug Alert!) Bézier Masking

m3lquixd wrote on 2/9/2023, 7:47 AM

When I move the cursor with the mouse or keyboard, frames are created, this is very inconvenient. This is clearly because of the new Smart Mask feature.

I agree. "[Bug alert]" or "[Feature request]" would be enough to get your message appropriately noticed by the relevant parties.

I only use it for aesthetics. Just open my profile and check my posts, they all have emojis. Very cool your attitude of judging a person with speculation. 👍

The forum is a comfortable and friendly environment. Using CAPS in a post and emoji's in posts aren't really necessary to get anyone's point across. People read the forums and answer.

But adding them everywhere is drawing attention to oneself. I have no problem except with post titles. As if no one can actually read that you are reporting something that is a bug, where Bug report does the same thing. It's a matter of personal preference.

So why use them out of curiosity?

I really feel very bad about this, I suffered prejudice, I don't know if this is xenophobia because I'm not American, I don't know. But I really felt bad now. Emoji is something very common here in Brazil at least. I use it on everything, on my telegram channels, in my bio on my instagram, everything has emoji to represent things. And it really is quite frustrating that I have to explain myself about this.

It is very common on Social Media, in order to draw attention to onesself. Many people have not heard of peer support platforms, where there is a different etiquette, and a less egocentric, dispassionate atmosphere prevails. It was cute the first time you did it. Playing the attack card is unnecessary.

This is a Community, not a Competition.

m3lquixd wrote on 3/28/2023, 10:06 AM

How do you call attention with emojis in the title of a whatsapp group where the only person who will see the title is in the group? How do you get attention in a finance app where only I can see it? Or even on my PRIVATE telegram channels where (again) only I will see? Clearly, this is another culture and you are being prejudiced, instead of apologizing, you keep blaming me, SPECULATING that I want attention. Okay, so if really you're just going to continue to vent the hate, I'll withdraw from this discussion.

If emoji are a problem the moderators / site admins should disable them. There's no reason for users to attack one another or question motives, creating a disrespectful atmosphere which actually is a violation of forum rules where this is not!

If they're allowed they are fair game to use.

FWIW I don't like them and find they add nothing. If certain types of posts had dedicated emojis (support requests, feature requests, etc.) they'd be visually useful for discerning post content.

@m3lquixd

After the release of Build 370, you were upset and tried to get in direct contact with the developers because your bug wasn't solved:

1. (Bug Alert!) Bézier Masking

You wrote: @Vegas_Sebastian @VEGASDerek On build 370 bug remains, I'm completely frustrated.

2. The same happened in this post:

(Bug Alert!) Resize the mask size via the video preview.

Again: @VEGASDerek On build 370 bug remains.

3. And here: (Bug Alert!) Copy and paste attributes.

Again: @VEGASDerek On build 370 bug remains.

You should read release notes before complaining.

This is a minor update to build 326 which contains some critical bug fixes. A much larger update is due to come out in the next couple of months which will contain many more bug fixes and some new features.

People are frustrated because "their" bugs are not solved. But few of us tries to contact the developers like you do.

I'm sure that VEGASDerek and the rest of the team, knows more about the bugs and how complicated or easy it is to resolve the problems.

Besides, I live in Norway.
