GoPro footage is not optimized for realtime decoding, so you should be building Proxy Files for your source. Do this from the Project Media window. It's worth the time for ease of editing.

Try recoding your Samsung footage, which is vfr, to cfr in Shutter Encoder, a free utility.

@mark-y thanks I dont have any issues with samsung footage when iam using vegas pro 19 I just upgrade to pro 21 and everything is crashing and not responding. I got multiple video I need to edit but not able to do it due to this not responding. Little bit frustrated I've been using vegas since pro 15

GPU log says your NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER is compatible. Likely Vegas does not like your Media or something else in your system.

You have the usual setup that causes the most bugs, AMD CPU, Nvidia GPU with Nvidia GPU decoding.

Did you try VP21b187, I am having a much better experience than VP21b208, I have same sort of setup as you.

I reset Vegas installed VP21b208, reset and installed latest Nvidia studio drivers and had crashing on very simple projects, such as an OBS screen capture, mp3, and a few png's to create a 40 second video. Crashed 6 times for what should have been a 3 minute project to finish.

I returned to VP21b187 and it's much better for the limited use cases I have for Vegas, however there are people here that have had crashing with both builds so won't necessarily be better.

@mikosantos You might notice that the I/O Preferences have changed a bit on vp21 builds 187 and 208 compared to vp19. If you had the legacy-hevc box unchecked in vp19 and want to make vp21 versions which do not have that checkbox behave more like vp19, try checking the box for experimental-hevc.

The changes in vp21 were not billed as altering Avc decoding. But some Ryzen users have reported suddenly getting crashes they didn't get before with avc media and that checking the legacy-avc checkbox fixed things.

NVDEC and variable framerate is not a great combination in VEGAS, especially with such large variability (minimum of 2!?). Headers may also be wrong - Real frame rate : 240.000 FPS doesn't seem possible.

I'd reencode the footage with Shutter Encoder.

If you had legacy AVC decoding checked in 19 you could also check it in 21 and see if it helps.
