This will probably get me tarred and feathered, but I'd like to see Vegas and Samplitude bundled on a subscription basis like LR and PS, say $10 a month.

The moment Vegas goes subscription, I'll stop upgrading... I did the same thing with Adobe Premiere Pro

D7K, could you give your reasons why you feel this way? Just curious, not trying to be combative.

Mr. Etzel: I agree 100%. More if it were possible. That (not being the S word) is, for me, a STRONG selling point.

包月就是个坑 我之前也包月了Premiere 发现是个鸡肋 我宁可花钱一次性购买 还是保持以前的方式比较好

It is now the 28th at my location. So now what? Why so many unanswered questions?

The announcements on the news forum come from Berlin, or at least Germany, during working hours. It's 07:03 there now.

I'm not so bothered about there being a subscription option as long as there is a version that works without constant or sporadic connection to the internet. I gave up on Coreldraw (used since version 6) when Corel introduced the need to phone home once a month. I see this as similar to ransomware.

It's available at the Vegas Creative Software download site.

I tried the upgrade path. I chose PayPal and wanted to use PayPal credit. It would only give me PayPal but no options for PayPal credit. FAILED!

Possible solution. In PayPal, set PayPal credit as your default, make the purchase as 'normal' then after delivery, just to be sure you have the product, go back to PayPal and reset your default. I've done it, but not here. Just remember to reset your default back to NOT credit. I did for a while. Ooops :(
