After installing Build 403 and having the "New to Vegas" window still active, in addition, making sure that Preferences>Automatically open the last project on startup is check marked, the last project doesn't load when exiting and restarting Build 403.

Not the end of the world, just a couple more mouse clicks, but just wanted to know if I was the only one experiencing this.

I am sure that Vegas developers have more pressing issues to handle right now.

I installed the 20 trial version but it doesn't open, it's stuck in "creating video plug in factory" not work.😥

Can someone in Vegas really tell us what's going on here. Maybe it's me but the Smart Mask even with this mornings new install still only gives me this... (pictured below) top of head and hand cut off which is useless. Please prove me wrong with a Youtube tutorial about how it works. Hopefully I'm missing something but this doesn't look anything like what was pictured on the Vegas Website with the 4 dancers rotoscoped with multiple pinned points.
With a 1700mb update, has Vegas totally rewritten the program for some reason with some great surprises in store for the future because with that huge a file there has to be more than the unusable Smart Mask and the ability to change fonts across the timeline.
How is it I'm the only one questioning this?

Trying repeatedly to download VP20 403. Encountering enormous times for the download to complete, 5-10 hours in many cases with several links tried. Still don't have a working edition of Vegas 403. Is there a link that can download the program in a reasonable hour or less? Many thanks.

I tried all the links but the download doesn't start.

It seems like the servers are down or at the least overloaded.

I paid 129 euros for a program that stopped working. It's a shameful thing

moreover the way to fix it is impossible to apply . I have no words, I'm really disappointed

One of the many reasons I'm switching to Davinci Resolve. I still used Vegas for a few things, but this is ridiculous. Need to put it on some other servers so people can actually get this update.

@mauro-aldeghi I was fortunate to have updated early today. It took about 20minutes total to download both files. But, before updating, I was able to get VP20 running by just unplugging my computer from the router. Start Vegas, let if fully load, and plug back in the ethernet cable, and continue using the software.

I also have VP19 installed. Downloading the update for that might take lots of hours. So I won't bother until next week or so since I have VP20 running.

Really nice. i paid like 300+ bucks for vegas 365 post just to face this kind of garbage. If you don't quickly fix this, i would nicely ask for a refund. Thanks

Uh-oh.. looks like all the servers are overloaded. All links are dead, or give so slow downloads they die. Anyway, I'm glad the problem is on your side, I thought first that was some Windows update breaking Vegas.

Can anyone explain why I have the problem and I have not updated VP, I'm running VP20 B360.

This problem affects all builds of VEGAS Pro 20 and VEGAS Pro 19. The fact that people started experiencing this a couple days after the release of VEGAS Pro 20 build 402 was just a coincidence. The launch error was not a result of that update.

Does this mean that Buildd 403 is the "only" version of Vegas 20 that works without disconnecting the internet?

Real problem is that it's apparently linked to recent Windows updates, according to some peoples words (unsure). But to answer you: yes, the only working build is actually 403, and all download links are dead.

I guess that nobody has the installer so he could share it here with us, by uploading it on a random cloud?

I finally got both vp19 b651 and vp20 b403 (after many failed attempts) and they fixed the problem. I kept at it trying the vp20 links in this post. The problem affected all my machines running win10, win11, vp19, and vp20.

I'm trying to get 20.0 403 aswell, and will upload it on my ProtonDrive if I can get it.. but 627 Mo at 60 kb/s is very slow (three hours and half).

I don't know if we're allowed to redistribute it but @set has 8 different official direct links to choose from in different countries which worked for me.
