Trial all installed with new learning module fine, started up fine no issues and loaded my last 4K project fine no issues. Note that my CPU is old 3rd gen i5 at 4GHz and GPU 1080Ti. V21 seems happy so far now to try out some features.
Interface is snappy, but had my first not responding. Loaded clips in the media folder from a V20 project and when viewing a clip (nothing on timeline) with auto preview it went into not responding. I had to restart V21 and when doing the same thing it continued with no issue. (no further issues after testing a number of projects, I have had the issue that for every new version I get some minor instability at the beginning that quickly goes away after using the Vegas for a short time).
Why don't you always mention in the new version what bugs have been fixed? It gives the impression that you only added new features, which is a shame. I'm interested in what all you have done for the stability of Vegas.

Is VP21 not included in the Pro 365 Suite? I downloaded from the link under my products but my very up-to-date serial number does not work.
Edit: You must go into your Magix Service Center and deactivate any devices currently running VP20, you will then receive a new Serial Number that will work with VP21.
I remember that when you first introduced the Adjustment Track in the last version, I wrote you exactly the same suggestions that are now in VP21. For AT to act as empty events for FX and Transitions.
My dream came true, including Z-Depth. Thank you. Good job!
PS: I still miss the ability to Time Stretch + Ctrl to speed up more than 400%.

Great question about the bug fixes. VST handling seems somewhat improved here.
I do know VST got an overhaul, with a big reduction and the number of redraw commands being sent being something that was mentioned... Among other things. Those of you who use Vegas for audio should notice some big differences.

Neither are very expensive to begin with... But if the value isn't justified, stick with what works for you.
@Roberto-Almeida: We do have a known issue where some systems will take a very long time got process this "Creating Windows" step on the initial launch. It may take several minutes before it completes. Once it goes through this step initially, it will launch quickly in the future. We are working on a fix for this.

I'm using the trial version of V21 and cannot drag a clip to timeline by left clicking on the video section, only on the blue frame. This was fixed in V20 (411). Looks to be intermittent, some times I can sometimes I can't. Need to look into this further. Yes played about with this and following scrubbing through the clip in the media bin about 80% of the time I can drag to timeline 20% not.
Great. Few New plugins, for which you have to pay extra, and cloud nonsense.
Upgrade we all "Waited For'. Someone was saying that all the trouble with performance is being worked on, before release of VP21. As always, tons of bs. Now take out your wallet and pay few hundred bucks for plugins. WOW!

Yes I can do that for most clips with no issue but some do not. Can you try scrubbing the clip prior to dragging? Thanks.
On the subject of Mocha Vegas:
In addition to the text included in the new PDF for Vegas Pro 21, I would also like to point out the video tutorial from BCC that is specific to the Mocha Vegas variant, found in the entry screen when you access the Mocha GUI. From my point of view, a very good introduction.
As expected, an analog to Mocha Hitfilm, which I like very much, because indeed integration and workflow are much better here now. The learning curve is not to be underestimated....

When you want to drag the whole file to the timeline, you have to only push the left mouse button at the moment you start to drag down as I showed in the former video
Ah... next discovery, the default help after F1 is now not an ancient .chm file, but Web-based.
It is of course to a large extent the old help, but the new content is already mostly integrated.

I'm trying to download and activate Primate Studio as per the emailed instructions. I sign in to my Boris account, enter the activation number emailed to me and I'm Getting "Serial not valid for this promotion." Anybody else getting this?
