What was the error? A tool like Revo uninstaller might be able to wipe out everything letting you try again.

The problem wasn't getting the installer- it was trying to install it or uninstall my current build 108. I saw a thread where MAGIX techs recommend removing folders manually and then registry entries, but I'll wait for another day or two to see if someone gets back to me. Currently can't risk effing everything up. 108 is buggy but still workable for the most part. Take it easy.

Revo can do that removal step for you.

@Freefly Glad you got the newer 13th gen cpu which has the latest Thread Director for better compatibilty, performance and efficiency than the 12th gen but I think the issue can still exist if camtasia has not been properly optimized for this kind of heavy workload. Have you tried switching the power to high-performance? It would be nice to know if it worked.

Also it is kinda wierd that consumers weren't made aware of this scenario by the so-called tech-youtubers. Like the information were supressed somehow so that it wouldnt discourage people from buying intel cpu.

oohh, this update seems very promising! I'm still gonna wait until the next major version to upgrade my license, but I love seeing big bug fix updates like this! It gives me more hope for the future of vegas :)

Hello again, can you link me to Revo please? Still nothing from MAGIX support. After sending the error log files, they replied with 'Send us a screenshot of the errors'... I would have thought the error logs contained all the info they need, or maybe they didn't even check them. Ridiculous. Not impressed with the level of support- reminds me of Steinberg. I have Davinci Resolve Studio as well so using that right now to do projects- not nearly as buggy as VEGAS but more of a learning curve. That being said I still prefer the simplicity of VEGAS so hopefully I'll get this mess sorted. Later.

@effoff here is a link to the FREE version. I have the Pro version, and it works great. Especially when I really don't like a piece of software and want to "nuke" it. Just make sure you look at all that is going to be deleted.

@effoff what do you mean it's useless? It does essentially the same as the Pro version. The Pro version has more features, but uninstalling is the same.

Browsers Cleaner – clear Internet browser history

@TVJohn ... it's now an on/off button directly beneath the preview window which is much more convenient for those who want to switch spacebar behaviour during an editing session.

I’ve had Version 20 of Vegas Pro for the last 5 or 6 months now. Made a few projects and I’m now finishing a 90 minute video for a friend who just came back from a long trip in Europe. I'm making a video for her. She has a few photos but many video clips. While doing this, I’m having continuous problems with this version of Vegas Pro on the playback feature not only with this project but all the previous ones made with Version20..

I would say that around 70% of the video clips make a ‘’TICK’’ sound at the end. I must then slice the ending to get rid of that nasty sound…long and tedious process.So I copied a few clips on a Version 19 timeline. Nothing happens, everything is ok. Just with version 20…why?

The newest build of VP 21 (187) fixes the click at the end that can happen with some (usually computer encoded) files. Why it's a problem in 20 I don't know.

@michel-plante, if you do a search here, you'll see that that noise started with version 19 and has lasted until build 187 of version 21 for me. Now I'm no longer getting that noise that I was working around for a few years...

So upgrade to the newest version 21 and the noise will probably go away.

Hi,

I've found bug where subtitles shows incorrect for unicode characters.

For example the space is missing and "n" for some reason is duplicated after "ė" and "ž".

Althrough this can be overrided if you keep more than one space between leters. (2dn line).

The ISSUE appears only if there last char is non english and the 1st char of the word as well non english.

For the text bellow in "Video Media Generator" shows rendering little bit different:
