The transition video fx list comes out in Japanese. I don't change this part. Please help me.

regedit I can't edit it.

You fixed the red screen issue?

For language if you bought it from SourceNext it's the Japanese version. Otherwise you could try SeMW extensions to change language but I'm not sure it has all the files it needs if you're using the Japanese one.

I see. Thank you for your answer.

It's an error that happens sometimes, so red hasn't been resolved.
I'm going to change it to 3070.

It's Vegas Pro 19 version 381.
Windows 11 has a transition video fx screen error.

@homes

I had this issue in the past with a conflicting application using the GPU. A workaround is to change a setting in the Internals.

Hold shift and click the menu Options. Go at the bottom and select Internal...

From there, type "foundation" in the search box.

Set it to FALSE, apply, ok. Restart Vegas

This isn't it.
What do you mean gpu release?
It takes a long time to encode.
Las Vegas has a lot of errors.

Pretty clearly a graphics driver error.
Try updating via Vegas Pro under Help - Search for driver updates.

Is Vegas an error?

Yes, there are bugs in graphics drivers. Programs use GPUs differently so you won't necessarily see the same issue. Update the GPU and iGPU if you have one.

Long time Vegas Pro bug gets me annoyed again - when you have multiple regions and want to remove empty space between them with auto ripple enabled the margins of the previous region are shifted to the left.

If the next region is moved with the mouse - everything in the previous region remains as expected.

This needs to be fixed - all versions of Vegas are affected.

Another annoying bug I've experienced over the years is that the Logitech MX Master 3 mouse thumb wheel is not working in Vegas.

This wheel works in every software - Premiere, Davinci, Final Cut. But not in Vegas. So I can't use the full potential of a perfect mouse made for video editing...

I need to scroll the timeline left and right, but it's impossible, nothing happens(

Please fix this!

Good afternoon, tell me please, I do not have a Colorization FX item, maybe I need to turn on something, like everything is installed, the Vegas 19 pro program

JamesI wrote on 10/29/2021, 12:22 AM

I am having a problem. After doing the update when I rerun vegas pro it still says I need to update. I have chosen both ways to update. Update now and update when software closes, both result in a message that says it is already installed. I have uninstalled everything and then reinstalled using the downloader from my magix service center. The install goes fine then when it runs it says there is an update and then I am back in the loop of message saying its already installed. I discovered after playing with it if I remove deep learning models then it will not give me the update message, but if I run the update I have downloaded (backed up from appdata) then I get the message that it is already installed. Quite frustrating I was going to make a video tonight.

RogerS wrote on 10/29/2021, 12:26 AM

@JamesI Just ignore the update message as it's already updated if you are on build 381 with the deep learning models. There's some kind of bug in the update system other users have reported (you can search this forum to read more).

RogerS wrote on 10/29/2021, 9:14 PM

Just download the latest patch from the news section on this forum or your Magix account. If you're already on 381 there is nothing new so don't update.

#381 Upgrade Notification Pop-up window error - how to remove.

I finally found a way to remove this annoying Update Notification Error from Vegas Pro 19 #381.
These are the steps I took that have worked on my computer:
1. De-register all installed versions of Vegas (made by Magix) inside of your Magix account.
2. Download and install the free version of Revo Uninstaller (AMD recommended this program to me).
https://www.revouninstaller.com/
3. You're going to Un-install all Vegas programs one at a time.
4. This is the most important step!
After Revo un-installs Vegas, scan for all remaining Vegas program folders, Select All, then delete. There will be two types of folders that Revo will find for you. Repeat the process until all Vegas programs are removed.
5. I did an extra step and also ran CCleaner for good measure and then did a Custom Clean and Registry Clean.
6. Re-boot computer
7. Install Vegas Pro and activate license.

Touch wood, this seems to have fixed the problem once and for all!

p.s. I noticed that when Revo searched for remaining folders, it looked like v18 and v19 files had got mixed up, in regards to Deep Learning models. I think this was part of the problem, maybe?

@VEGASYatharth @VEGAS_CommunityManager Can you add the ability to copy\cut\paste markers and regions in the upcoming Vegas Pro updates?

I use regions to select scenes in my projects, and then I need to rearrange those scenes. It takes a huge amount of time to do this manually with a mouse, and almost impossible to be accurate when zoomed out to see the whole 15-hour timeline of rushes.

And the worst part is that it's impossible to drag region as a whole - I need to zoom in, select beginning, zoom out, move it to the desired position, zoom in, release the "in" point, zoom out go back to find the "end" point of a region, and repeat the previous actions.

Moving just one region this way take around one minute, and I have dozens of them in every project, at least 20.

So cut-paste a region\marker would be a great feature to implement!

Thanks!

@VEGASYatharth @VEGAS_CommunityManager I've found another bug in all versions of Vegas Pro.

When I turn on auto ripple and CUT some video events on the timeline - events on lower or upper tracks are moved backward too much and overlap with previous events.

This happens only when empty space is present after events I cut (which is the case for 90% of circumstances). To make it clear I've recorded a video to show this bug behavior:

The 381 version of Vegas.
VGA update provided by Vegas.
Windows 11 version CPU AMD 3700X.
RAM 32G VGA 1070.

Why does Vegas stop so much while editing?

No response.

I am Brazilian, sorry for my English. 🤦‍♂️

🔺 Bugs and suggestions 🔺:

- In the darker interface, the frame indicator is not showing, please fix this.

- You still cannot rename an already saved Filter Pack, needing to delete and save again if you want to change the name.

- And when I move a Package from the Plug-In Manager to an event, the interface gets glitches.

- I don't like the look of the events (with the Event Header disabled, of course).

When the event is currently selected, it changes to white and gets a yellow outline. One suggestion: Instead of leaving everything white, keeping the same color as the selected event and just highlighting it with a white outline will look more modern.

- Interface is not yet fully responsive.
Dark theme but still remains clear.

- Alpha files made in Vegas, whether they are .AVI or .MOV will not work in Premiere. This is a big problem for collaboration in an agency. (I don't know if it's you, or Adobe I should talk to)

📣 Let's talk a little more about the Filter Pack. 💭
Some ideas.

- A good idea would be to be able to apply more than one package in one event, it could have an "apply/replace or add" option. Example: I want to apply a package, so I select it and click apply or double click if I clicked on the wrong package I can double click on the right one and it will replace it as it already is.
The "add" option would be for something like: I have a package where I did a keyframe animation with picture in picture but I also want to use a color correction package, so I could use two packages by clicking on "add" then the two effects would be applied to the event.

There are a lot of things that can be improved in the Filter Package and it is one of the resources that I use the most nowadays. It makes the work much faster.

- I have several package keyframe animations made with picture in picture, could there be a specific tool just for this, because I make some animations of custom elements entries, Example: A lower third entering and leaving the screen. So I could save the entry animation and the exit animation separately, then I could apply only the entry animation and enlarge the lower third for the time I would need it on screen and then apply the exit animation. Currently whenever I need to resize the event that I am using the animation for, I need to move all the keyframes to the end of the event, so the output gets the correct time.

🔺 List of things to urgently add to Vegas (In order of importance) 🔺:

- Adjustment Layers (It really disappointed me that you guys just made something official that you could already do in the previous version. We want an event that modifies the events below NOT THE WHOLE TIMELINE! This is not practical)
- Animation graphics (possibility to better handle keyframe animations)
- Multiple Timelines in the same project
- Improve Nested (Like, you can take any project and drop it inside another and it works fine, currently it STILL has problems with the image, a certain trace, ghost effect.... whatever)
- The possibility to be able to change the color of events individually, not the timeline (Don't need to change but give the possibility)

Yes, these ideas come directly from Adobe Premiere, but they are very useful items, and make a lot of difference in choosing which program to use. I've been using Vegas for 10 years, but knowing that the neighboring program has all these features makes me want to migrate. And many of my friends have stopped using Vegas because of the lack of these features as well.

But I am very pleased with the evolution Vegas is having from version 10 to now.

And that's all folks... 😉✌️
