VEGAS Pro 19 update 1 has been released. Build 381 is a revised version of the original update 1 (build 361), addressing some of the major issues uncovered with that release. Please give us your feedback in this thread.
Looks like (so far anyway) the UI corruption bug with timestretch sound has been fixed as I can play an offending V18 project with no menu white block. well done super team.
When opening Vegas Hub and clicks audio.. Could dialog be slightly bigger?
2nd suggestion is quick time filter for selecting 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 minutes long clips. When user is looking for stuff for 2 minute video, he could quickly select duration 1:45 - 2:15 for example.
When clicking BCC Primatte Studio, Vegas will crash. Happens 'every' (tried 2 times) time.
Reinstalling BCC solved the problem.

@Erkki Glad you sorted it, just tried it & no prob here on my PC, but i would like Vegas to make the little on screen + a bit clearer, maybe make it pink
My first pass at the update (from b341) resulted in a blue screen system crash - Hypervisor_Error, after clicking 'Update Immediately'. On my second pass, I selected 'Update When Program is Closed', closed VEGAS Pro, and the update was successful.
On launch, it prompted me to register again which failed the first time, but was successful on retry. The first start up after updating was really slow, but it retained my Preferences and I was able to add vFX (I tried Primatte Studio first).
However, the second startup was much faster and, at the moment, it looks like I'm up and stable on b381. Many thanks to the VegasCreative team!
Updated Vegas 19 a couple weeks ago when it came out, program kept crashing on exit. Today I see there is a new update. I updated, but now everytime I start up the program again says there is update. So I did it again, thinking maybe something went wrong with the new update, nope it keeps happening. Any suggestions?
Through Vegas 19 I have downloaded the updater several times and told it to update, with and without the FX update. However my current build (361) of Vegas crashes when ever I exit the program and I think this is preventing the updater to do the installation process. 1) How do I turn off the update message every time I start Vegas? 2) Can you provide an offline update link from this site, so I can run the updater, then start Vegas as 381?
I just tested and the download link here works. A browser (Chrome) may not download without a workaround of copying the link text and pasting it to the browser. Try that or use another browser. Be sure to close the program before and check Task Manager to see that there are no VEGAS processes left running.

This worked! You are exactly correct, google chrome wont update it. I did it though the link and it took one minute. I have been messing with this for hours today... Thank you!!!!!

Thanks for the direct links. Just to let you know neither the auto forward or the click on link worked (javascript?). But when I text copied the http address and pasted it into my browser the download worked.
No...the main issues, high memory usage, excessive launch time, crashes on launch and crashes on exit, were introduced with one specific change in build 361. We removed that change to remedy those problems for build 381. The only other thing that changed in build 381 was a fix for the UI corruption that appeared in the original release.
@nut4squirrel When you open Vegas & get the update notification, after clicking update Vegas will close, there'll be nothing on the screen but it's updating/loading in the background, after a short while an update pop-up will show, mine's fairly fast but still took a couple of minutes for this pop-up to appear, If you open Vegas before this pop-up shows you'll get the update notification again n again every time you open Vegas before it's had time for that pop-up.,
Mine only took 10mins-ish to do the whole update thing but someone mentioned theirs took a couple of hrs.
It took me several tries to update different time of day late afternoon only took between 10 and 15 min before that it was taking more then 30min. I also couldn't wait thought I exited too soon so opened up Vegas again (try not to do that just wait) One problem is something didn't want to close in older version made it appear Vegas was still running that took awhile (few minutes).
It's up and running and my first complaint is using the mouse wheel to zoom in on the clips moves everything the scroll bar moves out so I had to keep clicking on the scroll bar to move it to the beginning, don't think that happened in the older version. Other then that haven't giving it a good test run yet though I'm looking forward to it.
