RE: Vegas 17 Feature Requests
Requirements list 1. Revolutionary new INFUSION Engine like in Magix Video Pro X. GPU decoded video frames (DirectX textures) are now directly transferred to the video engine, so copying them to memory is unnecessary. Even during resource-hungry

PS. 9900K is cheaper to build hell yes. 9900K performs better then TR, Hell NO, not even close in over all. I also edit photo in Lightroom CC. The 1950x SHOULD perform better than the 9900K, but it does not in many apps because they have not

I have responded to your previous request about the test. Its slow and I did not care to finish it and abort and delete the file. But if you want to compare your to mine in regards to performance in Vegas . Why don't you try 2-3 tracks in multicam

RE: Goodbye Vegas...Hello DaVinci
@wwjd I went for Resolve on Linux. Finished dozens of projects, mostly simple multicam shots, but also some "talking head" videos. All that only fullHD, I don't make any 4k stuff. So far it was rock solid for me, no crashes without Fusion. Made a

RE: Goodbye Vegas...Hello DaVinci
just wanted to say that timeline preview is way better in davinci and for me in Premier pro is MUCH MUCH better/faster with HEVC files. premier pro has no problem with 4 multicams 4k/60p hevc or h265..... vegas pro can't even do 1 in 2.7k60p, and i

Poor Video Quality Issues
I sort of gave up on shooting and editing video for almost a year as my final product quality is usually a mess. I decided to give it another try and shot an ice show last weekend. I used an NX3, Z150 and my A99II as a backup cover shot. I allowed

Followup: I was having problems with stuttering video when I 'enabled multicam editing', AND watching the "Show Full Frame in preview monitor" ( I use a separate TV as monitor). When I disable "Show Full Frame in preview monitor", the stuttering is

Radeon VII with Vegas 16... wow!
Just pulled the trigger on a Radeon VII video board plus a 9900k i9 and what a combo. Cpu is air cooled with an NH-D15 and video card is stock air cooled too. Red Car comes in at 15 seconds compared to 25 seconds on my e5 Xeon paired with an old

@TheRhino - Yes, I’m planning to get the SATA drives. The Agent is open to negotiation. However, @TheRhino, I’m intrigued in your re-engineering of the EasyStore USB thingy? Please explain? My SOURCE 4K video is on fast M.2 drives in RAID0 which

RE: New Win10 OS install and Make sure you have read access to file/folder
Just wondering. You say you installed a "fresh OS" on a newly purchased M.2. 1. Was it an actual install, or did you perform a "clone" with included software, or say some other free version, or even a possible Windows Restore from back-up? 2. If a

RE: VEGAS PRO preview lag in 1080p even with Intel i7 and NVIDIA 1060 6GB?
I'd avoid the mac all together.. far too overpriced for what you get. Final cut is good at what it does, but it doesn't do a lot. Last time I tried, FCP couldn't even import HEVC. Most modern GPUs you can get for PCs have hardware HEVC decoding. I'm

RE: what cpu i get for vegas pro 15 -AMD Ryzen 7 1700x vs intel i7-8700k
My Radeon 7/Ryzen 1800x system does it as well, absolutely perfect framerate on 4K even in multicam, but the second it switches clips, it pauses. It seems like there should be some kind of buffer that reads ahead on the timeline to prevent that from

RE: Vegas pro 16 crashes
I hate breaking my projects into smaller chunks... even my 6+ hour multicams usually share one timeline. However, over 1000 clips is excessive for any app from a stability perspective. You can't expect there to be good performance with that many

RE: Vegas 17 Feature Requests
My wishlist: Volume envelope / pan envelope, like on track, but for audio events. Old premiere had this function. If I want to lower volume on music, need to add this envelope into track, but then I need to watch it every time, when moving movie,

Enhanced multi-camera operation. Like not throwing away track fx when combining to a multicam track. And not throwing away crossfades when expanding a multicam track without saving muted clips (ok that's probably just a bug fix because it doesn't do

RE: M.2 Drive - Best place to use one?
When you mention "M.2" you should always be clear whether drive is SATA or PCI Express 3.0 (NVMe). "Computer bus interfaces provided through the M.2 connector are PCI Express 3.0 (up to four lanes), Serial ATA 3.0, and USB 3.0 (a single logical port

RE: GPU Card Performance Testing with Vegas Pro
This project made my gtx 970 choke to the point that it needed proxies. With Radeon 7, it plays back smooth at best (full) even with luts applied (which I tested after this video was shot). This is a 5 camera multicam, all 4k, with one gopro angle

RE: Unable to save Multicamera project in Vegas14
I misunderstood the way Vegas is working. I thought that when I import a project containing grouped tracks or multicam tracks , I could work directly in master project. In fact, I have to use "Edit in Vegas" to make modification in imported project.

RE: Unable to save Multicamera project in Vegas14
But this isn't related to multicam editing as this thread title says, is it? What you do there is called "nesting" and this again is how nesting is supposed to work: making a Vegas Pro project file being treated as if it would be a simple media clip.
