Sucessfully got all three cameras in sync and did first pass on editing. But when I had created my multicamera timeline and started editing it went fine in terms of moving clips on thetime line. Then after trying to move one clip on ti,eline all the clips for that camera lost sync. Many hours of work on this edit don't want to lose the work is there any way to re sinc that camera? Im working in Vega Movie Studio Platinum 14

What does "loses sync" mean? Did you ungroup the tracks? Did the events turn pink?

We will probably never know how to fix this with your multicamera project.

Musicvid: So sad that my first post looking for help gets me such a trollish reply. But I live in hope you are a funny guy with a side ball in the eight pocket sense of humor. I didn't un group the tracks. I had a crash in the midst of trying to solve this problem which didn't help. I've got clips from three cameras on a multicamera timeline. I have been moving the cut points between the clips to refine the edit.by dragging trim evens in the usual manner. It has been working fine. But I made an error of some kind and now one of the cameras no longer lines up twith the audio sound. What I'm hoping for is someone to tell me how to get access to the original three camera timelines so I can get the camera giving me trouble back in sync with the sound. Alas I may be beyond hope. I'm certainly a novice. Just hoping to get some help....sob. Sniffle. Can I borrow your hankie?

1. Can I assume the Undo command didn't work for some reason and you don't have a saved project?

2. Sorry, unless you backed up the three tracks before creating the multicam track, they went away.

3. In eighteen years as a Vegas Pro user the only way I've ever had video / audio desync is by ungrouping the tracks, one way or another. They are grouped on import as the default behavior.

4. I feel you are shooting the messenger. It still doesn't sound like it's coming back; might look in your AppData for a leftover project. Sorry I couldn't be of more help this time, but now you know how to prepare for a few contingencies. And we've all done it, and learned ways to avoid it going forward.

Welcome to the forum!

Thank you Musicvid. I'm at the start of a learning curve. You're help is appreciated, I do have a version to work from that's not too far back down the line. The weird thing is the camera is in sync up to 3 quarter of way through. I suspect I may have accident applied time stretch and crash limited my ability to undo§ Will l double check grouping in future.
