Congratulations @edoardo-l This this the first time I can recall seeing HIP (historically informed performance) early music on this site and a very fine performance it is. I notice you have occasionally zoomed in (very effectively on the theorbo player around the 7 minute mark) but used it sparingly so as not to distract from the performance, Could I suggest that occasional addition of long slow (almost imperceptible) 'Ken Burns Effect' zooms to some sections would add a little more visual interest and help the viewer be 'drawn in' to the performance. Once again, thanks for sharing I look forward to seeing and hearing more.

A few years ago I started making little story films, "one man band" productions. Here's one from last October that relies as much on the editing as anything else.

Did a test shoot yesterday to try out auto-focus on a new lens... lens is OK but auto-focus not so much. Never tried capturing surfers before and it's a challenge. Have to keep the lens zoomed out till I see who's going up and try to smoothly zoom in the lens... I'm not very good at pulling focus while manipulating lens zoom which was why I was hoping auto-focus would cover me. Also took a stab at some stuff in post I've never tried before... some slow motion transitions during wipe-outs and runs. I'm figuring it out. Btw, surfers are about 300 yards away, small boat is about 1,000 yards out, and cruise ships are about 7 miles away off of Port Canaveral. Shot hevc at 60 fps / 151 mbps with slowmo transitions down to 0.250 using the Vegas FX. Lens is a Panasonic 100-300mm mft mount on a Zcam E2.
@Howard-Vigorita, you have to use the focus ring on the lens or does the Zcam have auto focus.
The zcam has auto-focus but it seems pretty rough. I did a shorter test shot a few days earlier where I did it manually using the lens ring and I think it came out much sharper. I'm going to just have to get better at that.
The manual focus is much sharper. Using the focus ring will take some practice, but after a while, it becomes second nature.
You should have worked on Seinfeld. You can go on and on with a theme until the audience can't disconnect for fear of missing something. I enjoyed it enough to forget about the editing. That's my highest praise.

High praise indeed @john_dennis ..Thank you kindly!! .. It took some doing to get the editing tight enough. When I started I thought it would be simple. But actually the hardest part is finding an idea that can be done as a "one man band" ..
