It is inspiring, like your videos @set because they show what the software is capable of in the hands of someone who knows how to use it, and where the limiting factor a lot of the times is "me".

Nothing exceptional as far as effects or style, but if you are interested in The Little White House in Warm Springs, GA. I shot and edited this a few years ago. I am the narrator with the nasally midwest accent.

Reyfox wrote on 5/19/2021, 3:35 PM

@Former user a nice video with history! And the narration was perfect!

@Former user Good one. I find narration the hardest part of a video. You did it well. As for your accent I found it pleasant.

Former user wrote on 5/19/2021, 7:19 PM

@EricLNZ thanks. I guess no one likes the sound of their own voice. thanks for commenting and watching.

A mix of photos and videos of quite static objects, which makes it a little boring. It's easily to distinguish between photos and videos due to the shakiness of the videos. I would stabilize the videos to make them fit better to the photos.

Ecquillii wrote on 5/20/2021, 9:13 AM

DougT, thank you for the tour of the little white house! Your narration pulled me out of time and into history in a relaxed manner. Your voice had an ethereal presence that I associate with the Canadian Wildlife Services commercials from the 1960s.

@3POINT thanks for input. In my defense, I wanted to give people time to read some of the signs, As far as shaky camera, I shot it as a tourist not a videographer. (and they really aren't photos but freeze frames from the video). Thanks for your comments and for watching.
@Ecquillii thanks for your comments as well. I never thought of my voice as being ethereal. Glad you enjoyed it.

@Former user When handholding in a similar situation (no moving people or vehicles in the shot) I frequently slow down shots on the timeline to help steady them.
