Try resaving the project with a different name and see if it works any better.

Another idea is open Vegas twice and copy and paste the contents into the new project and see if that clears up errors with this project.

Can you work with a sample project without issues? You can download one here and try editing as normal. Then render and see if it crashes. https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/benchmarking-results-continued--118503/

If it doesn't it, may be something specific to your project, including type of Fx and media.

Beyond that if 17 is working fine, go back to that for now and try 19 again after the next patch comes out in case it solves some of your issues.

@RogerS Ok. I have an important project that I am working on and when I copy and paste the content from one session to an empty new session, at some point, that same project becomes corrupt. Also its very difficult to even open and copy the project. Hmm

Really, that's surprising. Usually saving as a new project or copying prevents corruption.

If you have media that's variable framerate from phones or from screen capture, etc. try converting to standard AVC using Handbrake or Shutter Encoder and use "swap video files" in the media bin to point the project to the new files.

Can you say what 3rd party Fx or plugins you are using?

@Roger in this project are only footage from my canon 6D… I have not used any affects. But bugs existed from when the program originally began crashing. You can see theses bugs in the video in the feed. There are vertical lines in the entire screen that remain and I cannot view any of the footage. When I copy and paste from this glitched project, the bugs are copied and pasted with it.

Problem is he's already on the best available graphics drivers (though the Intel GPU is old and not officially supported. If it's some weird decoding bug I thought disabling the GPU from doing decoding might help. The NVIDIA is doing overall acceleration and should work in VP 19).

He was able to render the sample benchmarking project (though not clear if he can edit that project without glitches appearing). That's making me think it's a mix of this type of footage and the GPU?

Or maybe something else entirely like Nahimic interfering with Vegas? Can try going to add or remove programs and uninstalling if it exists.

@RogerS I looked for Nahimic and I haven't found it.

These error reports don't say anything at all, it just says a fault in Vegas itself.

Can you download Handbrake, transcode 3 of your Canon clips to AVC (don't use QSV or NVENC for encoding) at the same resolution and framerate at the original and make a new project to put them in? See if you can edit without corruption.

If you want to make a corrupted project available for download I'd like to see one. If there are privacy issues just shoot a few 10s clips of an object in your home with the Canon and use those instead of real footage. Use Google Drive, Dropbox, etc. to share a link to download it.

Beyond that I'd suggest working in VP 17 and waiting for the next update to Vegas in the hopes it resolves some issues like what you are seeing.

I downloaded the file and the only real veg I could find is "3 minute compilation template.veg", which plays normal on my laptop in VP19, so nothing wrong with that veg and Vegas 19, look

I tried 3 of the so called vegs, but nowhere I could find the sources.
All those maps are one big mess.
For me logic that Vegas cannot answer such strange vegs and or files, f.i the veg asked for jpg or png files, but the source map "stills"is empty. Along some mp4 or mov files there are audiofiles a.s.o
My advice should be : learn first how to place files clearly and logically on a computer

@j-v Sir. All the source files are categorized in folders. (Audio, footage, fxs, etc). Im not new to editing.

@j-v secondly I has NO issues with my work flow or editing until the Rollout of 19.

This is why actual technical support is needed for such a superior software.
