Vegas 18 pro. Render window missing. Help

When I render. There used to be a window prompt that would open during the process. Asking to open folder when rendering was finished, etc. This has gone and I can't seem to restore it. Help me please

Really loving the the stock footage in 365, so handy having it on tap like that! Been playing with around text to speech too, really good. Had a few minor graphic glitches, but seems to be ok when dynamic ram is off (set to 0) The program as a whole does seem a little snappier than before (responds quicker) love the colour schemes although some of the icons on the track headers are a little hard to see. All in all though a really nice update. Look forward to further improvements :-)

Loyal customer for 7+ years and I upgrade every season to support the team and keep vegas alive.

Loving Vegas 19.

Only thoughts are dynamic ram needs an overhaul or removal; this has been a recurrent issue for years.

Unless you use it only for what is intended.
Not for rendering, but only if you need to preview with their help certain difficult parts of your timeline. When it is time for rendering reserving amounts of DynamicRAM is and was very destructing for the program.

“is still destructing”

Then it should disable itself upon render. 🤷‍♂️

Or at least set to 0 upon default install, I believe the default is 5% on install in VP19.

One of the changes made for VP 19 was that it is disabled during render. The fact it seems to be still causing some problems for you while a render is in progress is puzzling.

Hi guys. Just recently signed up for Vegas pro 19 subsciption service (have upgraded a number of times). When I'm working in new color grading pane and pushing my footage exposure or color I will get a weird horizontal pixelated line that shows up in preview window. This line also shows up if I render video. What is causing this? Is there a way to turn it off? I have contact support as well but was curious if anyone has had same problem. Thanks.

Just installed Vegas 19 on Windows with two 4K monitors. Full screen preview does not place itself in one full screen but partially across the two screens (and can't move it) obscuring the Vegas program and with the gap between the two screens in the middle of the image. Never had this problem with Vegas 18 (which is still installed and working fine in this respect). Unless there is a setting to correct this or a quick bug fix makes V19 unusable in the short term.

You likely had the same issue with VP 18 but forgot about it (I did). Try selecting the alternate high DPI mode.

VP19: Any reason why when GPU acceleration is on it eats disk space? Had to to turn off GPU acceleration in preferences as it was using about 1GB of disk space every few frames, was refreshing my C drive to see, then eventually got the out of memory error. Turning off GPU acceleration fixes this?

No reason and my VP19 don't use disc space nor RAM.
Sometimes wrong settings for I/O ( not default) causes both.

I'm not confused, because I read all 14 pages on this thread. (Really!) But the pop-up I got just now is likely (sure) to confuse some. Yes, I am aware that it is only the royalty-free stock that they are talking about that comes with the subscription, but I can see another wave of confused people thinking that it is VP19 that is subscription only.

And what about this facebook ad?

Highlighting features that are only included in 365, and then saying you can choose between monthly payment or perpetual license.

fr0sty wrote on 8/31/2021, 5:55 PM

The features that require a sub are labeled as such, I don't see the issue?

Steve_Rhoden wrote on 9/1/2021, 3:11 AM

janndk, What would the confusion be about that ad?. It is clearly written saying those features comes with subscription... And Len, i understand your point, but its also written clearly saying royalty free stock content is the one that comes with subscription.
