RE: Your preferred 32bit Full Range Pixel Format Workflow / Pipeline ?
With 32b FR timeline, you simply have to choose Color Space at render time (as @Howard-Vigorita pointed out just above) . I never mess with semw or computer to studio fx at all. Simple streamlined workflow. Edit: I don't need to conform anything

RE: How to see in Vegas if a Proxy exists for a media file?
FWIW: I hate waiting for Vegas' proxy generation so disable it and create my own using Handbrake or FFMPEG when needed. I've used FFMPEG for these workflows too. - to auto-merge multiple Osmo Action or GoPro files into one (avoiding

RE: Vegas 19 continually crashing, unusable, but 13 stable same PC?
@Vincent-Brice as I wrote, I edit just about every type of file coming to me from others. The Panasonic files are easy to work with. The GoPro AVC files have been good too. I can not comment on HEVC files from GoPro since I do not have any. The only

Some thoughts on the Catalyst Browse stabilization approach (specifically regarding the FX30): The stabilization is okay. There is no horizon leveling, and it certainly doesn't work magic when for example I try walking and shooting directly ahead or

RE: Vegas Pro Workflow Bugs as found in 19 and now Version 20
DNG files are lossless raw data in a different, non-proprietary container. If you're using the Adobe DNG converter try full sized previews. The debayer engine is whether Vegas actually processes the raw file itself using the raw data (and is not

@Former user Hey Todd i work with HEVC files all in (10Bit 422 or 420) from Sony A7IV, GoPro Hero 8, Iphone 13 Pro Max, and even tried Panasonic Lumix S1. The Intel IGPU Decoder works great on all of them never had any issues. Even the File you just

I did some testing with the new build of 21 and am impressed overall. NVDEC is finally performing well (better than QSV in most cases) and HEVC I could never edit before is working well. It also looks like the NVENC still image render bug is

RE: Vegas Pro does not open video file .mov (4K frame rate 25)
You don't need to obsessively match file formats or bitrates and they only truly match if the file is compressed in the same way (even within HEVC and AVC there are differences). Since multiple saves are lossy I'd go higher than the original file

OK, let's just assume the GoPro footage is correctly 29.970 as indicated in media properties. If I ensure "Quantize to Frames" is checked and "Show Unquantized Event Edges", I expect Vegas to show me any event (clip) endings that don't fall on a

RE: Question Re Drop Frame & GoPro 30P
It appears, for whatever reason, that GoPro wants the video to quantize to exactly match the end of the audio stream. Not sure what logic led to that decision, as we usually find it the other way around.
