I am using a dvd player as the source in video capture. The DVDs do not have readable files on them however they do play back. Hence the need to capture. I have audio and video on the screen. How do I start "record" of this programming?
These disc were created using and dual deck VHS to DVD and it's possible I did not finalize them. When I load them i to an external dvd reader connected to my PC, no files appear. Would Handbrake be able locate and convert them?
Still wondering about the RED record button in Video Capture. It's not present on the Capture Screen.
Thank you. I found a Youtube video with finalizing instructions for my model dual deck. Pretty straight forward. Once they are readable I should be able to import the files to Movie Studio. You've been very helpful. Thanks again.
If you can access the DVD files in Windows Explorer, Vegas can usually open the Video TS> <.VTS_01_0.IFO> file for the entire video or the <.VOB> segment files,
